Dusit Central Park Reveals Readiness of Roof Park, Thailand's Largest Urban Rooftop Garden
Viman Surya Co., Ltd., the developer of Dusit Central Park, a world-class mixed-use project under the concept of Here for Bangkok, and the developer of The Residences at Dusit Central Park, the finest luxury residential project in the Super Core CBD, has unveiled the readiness of Roof Park, Thailand’s largest urban rooftop garden, which features 100% Thai flora and the most beautiful city view, Extended Park View. This park seamlessly connects the green spaces of the project with Lumpini Park and is set to welcome Thai citizens and tourists from around the world on September 3rd.

Supachai Sutthumphan, CEO of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, stated, “The Roof Park at Dusit Central Park is the result of the visionary leadership of our management team, aiming to develop the mixed-use area of the project into more than just a business space in a prime location. It is designed to give back to the community, welcoming everyone, regardless of gender or age, and catering to all needs and lifestyles. This has led to the creation of a 7-rai (11,200 square meters) elevated green space, which is a crucial piece connecting all components of the project, including hotels, residences, shopping centers, and offices. This is the first time in Thailand's real estate sector that a large-scale urban project has created a green space for everyone, providing beautiful landscape architecture across the 4th to 7th floors, along with an Extended Park View that connects seamlessly with Lumpini Park. The park features meticulously selected trees, 100% Thai plants, large and small water features, and pathways designed with Universal Design principles suitable for all ages, including children, the elderly, and wheelchair users. There will also be a Food Passage where everyone can enjoy dishes from famous restaurants, a D Garden connected to the Residents’ Private Garden of The Residences at Dusit Central Park, a Bird Nest viewpoint for panoramic views of Bangkok, and an Amphitheater for activities and recreation, making this area a new landmark for both Thai people and tourists worldwide. We are preparing for the official opening on September 3rd, and we are currently selecting an official name for Roof Park through the campaign ‘The Landmark of Thai Pride: Roof Park Naming’, which has received over 2,200 name submissions. We thank everyone who participated and shared their creative ideas, and we will announce the results soon.”

Supachai added, “For accessing Thailand’s Largest Urban Roof Park, we welcome everyone, including hotel guests, residents of Dusit Residences and Dusit Parkside, shoppers, office workers, and the general public. The park is easily accessible by car and public transport, including the BTS Sala Daeng Station and the MRT Silom Station, which have direct connections to the project. There are also several bus routes, including 15, 3-45 (77), 3-52R, 3-9E (45), 4, 4-68, 77, 141, 113, 115, 162, 514, and for those driving, there is convenient parking available within the project.”
Laiyat Kowawisarach, CEO of Viman Surya Co., Ltd., said, “In addition to attracting Thai citizens and tourists from around the world, we also prioritize creating this space as a quality green area through the integration of Biophilic Design principles that connect people with nature through elements such as surfaces, patterns, and natural materials that stimulate all five human senses. The greenery, the fragrance of flowers, and the soothing sounds and sensations from waterfalls contribute to this experience. Additionally, we apply Ecosystem Principles by selecting trees that not only produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide and dust but also provide habitats for beneficial birds, insects, and small animals, truly supporting the coexistence of nature. Those interested can follow news, activities, and special privileges for using facilities, activity spaces, and promotions from service providers within the project via our Facebook and Instagram pages, so everyone can prepare to experience and enjoy the quality green space of Roof Park happily. This area will be a new landmark that promotes health and well-being, serving as a green lung that enhances urban ecology, increasing the quality of green spaces in Bangkok and making it a city with sustainable growth potential on a global scale. Our Thailand’s Largest Urban Rooftop Garden will open on September 3rd, operating daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For those wishing to visit Roof Park outside of Central Park's operating hours, there will be an elevator provided by the project.
