By partnering with the leading brand TOA, a long-standing business ally in Thailand, they aim to create homes that instill confidence and pay attention to design at every stage, from the initial process to the final product. They are meticulous in selecting environmentally friendly materials and decorative items, recognizing that environmental issues require cooperation from all sectors to achieve tangible results. They are committed to choosing quality products from partner brands that share the same policy of focusing on the development of innovative materials and eco-friendly decorative items. This collaboration will help produce positive outcomes for every family and resident, leading to sustainable services and directly benefiting residents' health, contributing to a shared commitment to environmental stewardship.
Mr. Jaturapat Tangkaravakoon, CEO of TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited, stated that the trend of Green Living, or environmentally conscious living, is gaining importance both globally and in Thailand. As a leader in innovative paints and eco-friendly building materials, TOA is advancing under the mission of 'Conquering Net Zero' to achieve sustainable growth based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, which emphasize balance among the environment, society, and corporate governance. One of the key strategies is to develop products that reduce environmental impact. TOA has received the Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) label from the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) for the most products in the industry, totaling 133 products, including 131 building paints and 2 gypsum board products, with an additional 91 products certified this year.
“TOA continues to operate under its GREEN MISSION and the 7-GREEN strategy, covering everything from research and development, production, transportation, to actual customer use, to tangibly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and collaborate with partners across all sectors to create sustainable change. This collaboration not only elevates the living standards of Thai people but also unites the real estate and construction materials sectors to transform society and the world, reflecting the shared mission of both organizations to create a sustainable future for all lives, families, and the environment,” Mr. Jaturapat said.
Mr. Somnuk concluded by stating that NC Housing has policies to support happiness in a Green Living society, thus partnering with the leading brand TOA Paint, a long-standing ally and Green Partner Brand. TOA's eco-friendly exterior wall paint features Super UV Block technology and heat-reflective film, capable of reflecting over 95% of sunlight, reducing wall temperatures by more than 5 degrees Celsius, which helps decrease air conditioning workload and save electricity costs. Additionally, it contains no mercury or lead, ensuring safety for residents with Ultra Low VOCs health paint technology, and can eliminate over 99.6% of the coronavirus within 30 minutes. NC Housing has over 74 housing project brands that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 639,035 tons CO2e, equivalent to planting 371.532 rai of teak trees.
This collaboration also contributes to creating a better world, reflecting efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and being part of the strategy to achieve Net Zero organizational goals. This initiative not only promotes sustainable business growth but also benefits society and the environment as a whole. The commitment to this approach positions them as leaders in producing eco-friendly products, working together to create a sustainable future that positively impacts residents and fosters innovations that benefit society and the environment.
