LPN x LPP Reinforces Leadership in Sustainable Real Estate, Partners with OGGA CIRCULAR to Launch Household Item Exchange Project
LPN and LPP, in collaboration with OGGA CIRCULAR, organized a household item exchange for waste event to deliver and install the first AI waste management cabinet, "TrashEX by OGGA," at Lumpini Tower on Rama IV Road. The event was attended by executives, including Ms. Daranee Chatpiriyapan, CEO of L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited, and Mr. Surawut Sukjareonsin, CEO of LPP Property Management Company Limited, along with Mr. Nanthawat Witwatdamrong, Project Chairman, and Ms. Theeraya Witwatdamrong, Project Leader at OGGA CIRCULAR, who develops and produces sustainable premium gifts. This initiative aims to promote awareness and participation among residents of LPN projects and office employees in separating PET plastic bottles and aluminum cans for recycling or upcycling into useful items in the future.

Ms. Daranee Chatpiriyapan, CEO of L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited, stated that LPN and its affiliated companies have always recognized environmental issues, following the concept of #6GreenLPN, which emphasizes corporate responsibility towards the environment and society comprehensively. This includes oversight from the design process to the delivery of products and services to customers. Without effective management and oversight, there would be significant impacts on the environment and society. It is crucial for every organization to adhere strictly and seriously to business operations. The "household item exchange for waste" event is another initiative that LPN aims to deliver the idea of "livability" to customers and the surrounding community. This time, we collaborated with OGGA, an expert in designing and producing products from recycled materials, which aligns with LPN's goal to address environmental issues, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2606. The AI waste management cabinet was installed at LPN's headquarters, Lumpini Tower, as the first location, allowing office staff, co-owners, and tenants to participate in the activity. Additional installations are planned for three condominium projects in Bangkok to pilot this initiative, expecting over 5,000 participants by the end of this year and reducing waste by more than 3 tons, equivalent to a carbon footprint reduction of up to 3069 kgCO₂e. We believe that "a good environment and society must start with ourselves before expanding to the communities we develop and the surrounding areas," Daranee concluded.
Mr. Surawut Sukjareonsin, CEO of LPP Property Management Company Limited (LPP), commented on this event, stating that LPP has always prioritized environmental care in its projects and has fostered participation through various activities, such as the LPP Love the Earth project, recycling waste separation initiatives, 60+ Earth Hour activities, and the bottle exchange for eggs program, which have received support from all relevant sectors, including the juristic person committee, co-owners, and residents in each project. This event represents another excellent opportunity to collaborate with OGGA, another environmental partner that utilizes AI technology to simplify waste management. This initiative not only encourages residents to recognize the importance of waste management for a better environment but also ensures that residents will enjoy exchanging PET plastic bottles and aluminum cans for points to redeem household items.
Mr. Nanthawat Witwatdamrong, Project Chairman and Founder of OGGA CIRCULAR, revealed that they see LPN's potential in creating quality housing and after-sales services that come with a livable community, as well as LPP's strong expertise in managing juristic persons, which has always been recognized by customers. Therefore, they were interested in partnering in waste management. OGGA CIRCULAR has a clear business philosophy regarding natural resource conservation and promoting sustainable environmental development, leading to the idea of developing an AI waste management cabinet to facilitate proper waste separation and enable quick recycling. Additionally, it adds fun for participants by allowing them to accumulate points for redeeming items when disposing of waste. They hope this initiative will benefit residents in LPN projects and office employees at Lumpini Tower.
Using the AI waste management cabinet is simple and can be done via mobile phone by scanning the QR Code on the cabinet or adding Line @Trash-ex, then registering by filling in personal information and phone number to access the system. After that, users can follow the steps to start accumulating points by selecting the type of waste for recycling (plastic bottles or aluminum cans) and collecting points according to the specified criteria to redeem various prizes. Points can be checked at any time, making it a community effort that turns waste management into a fun activity of accumulating points for redeeming favorite items.
Currently, the AI waste management cabinets are being gradually installed in four pilot locations in Bangkok, including:
1. Lumpini Tower, Food Court on the 11th floor
2. Lumpini Park Phahol 32 Project
3. Lumpini Place Chaeng Watthana - Pak Kret Station Project
4. Lumpini Place Tao Poon Interchange Project
Environmental issues are currently a global concern that everyone must prioritize and be aware of, as they directly affect all living beings on the planet. This is evident from various disaster phenomena resulting from the continuous destruction of nature and the environment. Therefore, LPN and LPP, as leaders in the Thai real estate sector, recognize environmental issues alongside social responsibility, with a philosophy of maintaining the environment from upstream to downstream in their operational guidelines to manage and reduce impacts that lead to problems from design, construction processes, and after-sales service delivery, earning customer trust under the 6 GREEN LPN strategy developed since 2013, which continues to prioritize environmental concerns.
Furthermore, LPN and LPP plan to expand this initiative to other projects continuously. The company aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions before climate change legislation takes effect, targeting an average annual reduction of 2.5%. For the base year of 2566, LPN emitted 1,292 tons of carbon (tCO2e), and in 2567, it aims to reduce emissions to 1,066 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e), achieving a 2.5% reduction in line with Thailand's Net Zero goal by 2608.
Environmental Policies of LPN
LPN has a serious and ongoing plan to reduce carbon footprints across multiple dimensions, such as installing solar panels at sales offices in every project to reduce electricity consumption. Last year, this initiative reduced electricity use from the grid by over 32%, resulting in a greenhouse gas reduction of 38,865.27 kgCO₂e and saving over 309,461 baht in electricity costs. They also established the "Separate, Exchange, and Earn" project in collaboration with Wake Up Waste to manage waste from source to destination, creating income for employees from selling recycled waste. Additionally, they participate in the Climate Care Platform of the Stock Exchange of Thailand and recently collaborated with OGGA CIRCULAR to organize the "household item exchange for waste" event to deliver and install the AI waste management cabinet "TrashEX by OGGA" for employees and customers in residential projects, reinforcing their position as a Net Zero Waste Developer to help create a livable society and raise awareness about the importance of environmental preservation for the benefit of humanity in the future sustainably.
