ROCTEC Reports Q1 Fiscal Year 2025/26 Results: Revenue Grows 9.1% and Net Profit Soars 63.0% Driven by ICT Business
ROCTEC Global Public Company Limited, or "ROCTEC," has reported its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025/26 (April – June 2025), with total revenue of 825 million baht, reflecting a growth of 9.1% compared to the same period last year. This growth highlights the potential of the ICT service sector, which remains the core business driving the company's revenue, accounting for over 85% of total income. Meanwhile, the company achieved a net profit of 121 million baht, an increase of 63.0% compared to the previous year, supported by operational profit growth and recognition of profit shares from investments in foreign joint ventures that have consistently strong performance.
Mr. Wei Sam Lam, CEO of ROCTEC, stated, "The strong performance in this quarter reaffirms the success of our strategy to focus on comprehensive ICT service provision, which has allowed us to continuously expand our customer base in both the public and private sectors, especially in the area of Integrated Technology Solutions that encompasses network infrastructure and cybersecurity systems. We have seen clear growth in government agencies and various institutions in Hong Kong. We will continue to leverage our strengths in technology and project management to drive sustainable growth in all markets where we operate."
In this quarter, the company also made significant progress, including the commencement of revenue recognition from the telecommunications infrastructure installation project for the State Railway of Thailand, as well as advancements in the terms of the Hello LED transaction with PlanB, which maintains the original transaction value while establishing a non-refundable deposit. Although these two items did not significantly impact the financial results this quarter, they reflect the company's ability to expand its network of partners and create strong long-term business and financial opportunities.
The company continues to assess that the business outlook for the fiscal year 2025/26, particularly in the ICT service sector, will continue to grow, supported by a significant increase in demand for technology solutions. ROCTEC is therefore moving forward to enhance its service capabilities through investments in in-house research and development (R&D) alongside the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to develop solutions that meet the needs of smart city infrastructure. Despite the global economy facing uncertainties from geopolitical factors, the company remains confident in the strength of its core markets, namely Thailand and Hong Kong, which have been relatively less affected compared to other regions. Currently, the company has revenue in the pipeline and awaiting recognition that exceeds 67% of its annual target for the fiscal year 2025/26, reflecting the stability of its revenue stream for the remainder of the year. The company remains committed to achieving sustainable growth, enhancing competitive capabilities, and delivering long-term value to shareholders in all economic conditions.
