Hyde Heritage Thonglor is a luxury condominium developed by Grand Star Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Grand Asset Hotels and Property Public Company Limited and Sumitomo Forestry, a leading residential company from Japan. Following the earthquake, Grand Star collaborated with Sumitomo Forestry and Kumagai Gumi to inspect the building structure. A team of experts, including engineers, architects, and structural designers, conducted an inspection of the building's structure, removing surface layers to assess the condition of the main structure, such as elevator shafts, columns, and critical joints. Each floor (R, 40, 32, 31, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 21, 7, 6, and 1) and the main structure of the building were thoroughly evaluated, and no damage or cracks were found in the main structural elements (core) such as columns and walls, with only minor cracks in the decorative materials.

Sumitomo Forestry confirmed from a report by INFRA, a specialized engineering and architecture firm, that the vibrations experienced by the Hyde Heritage Thonglor project during the earthquake were less than the wind forces for which the building was designed. Therefore, Grand Star is confident that the structure of Hyde Heritage Thonglor remains strong.
