HomePro Ignites the Spirit of Walking and Running, Collaborating with 3 Leaders for 'HomePro Fun Walk 2025 - Walk For Heart' for the 4th Consecutive Year
HomePro collaborates with 3 leaders from 3 sectors: Mr. Weerapand Angsumalee, Managing Director of Home Product Center Public Company Limited (HomePro), Mr. Chatchart Sitthiphan, Governor of Bangkok, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chan Chai Sitthiphan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University and Director of Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, to launch the 'HomePro Fun Walk 2025 - Walk For Heart - Every Step Counts for Heart' project for the 4th consecutive year. This initiative invites employees, partners, and allies to walk and run through the Wirtual application to accumulate steps, which will be converted into donations for purchasing medical equipment for the Heart Disease Center at Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, with a target of 4,004,000,000 steps throughout the project. The aim is to promote social activities, reduce the risk of illness, foster healthy habits, and reinforce collaboration from all sectors to create a sustainable culture of good health in society.

Mr. Weerapand Angsumalee, Managing Director of Home Product Center Public Company Limited (HomePro), revealed that the initiative for the 'HomePro Fun Walk 2025' project, now in its 4th year, stems from HomePro's commitment to promoting health awareness among employees, partners, and allies through walking, running, and regular exercise, which contributes to better health, work readiness, and a better quality of life for themselves and their families.
“In addition to promoting good health for everyone, HomePro Fun Walk also reflects HomePro's intention as a private organization that values creating good things for society by harnessing the power of exercise as a tool to inspire the younger generation to pay more attention to their well-being, while continuing to promote a culture of good health within organizations, communities, and Thai society as a whole sustainably,” he added.
This year, HomePro invites employees and partner allies nationwide, totaling over 18,700 people, to participate in the event with more than 200 competing teams, using the Wirtual application to count steps, transforming every step into donations to support the Heart Disease Center at Chulalongkorn Hospital, a key institution that treats and cares for heart disease patients, which is one of the leading causes of death in the country.
The 'HomePro Fun Walk 2025 - Walk For Heart' project runs from April 1 to July 31, 2025, lasting over 4 months, with the goal of accumulating 4,004,000,000 steps to give back to society. Additionally, HomePro will host the 'HomePro Fun Walk Outdoor 2025' event at Wachirabenchathat Park (Train Park) on July 5, 2025, with executive teams, employees from HomePro, partner companies, and over 1,300 runners coming together to create positive energy, share good health, and inspire each other.
HomePro Fun Walk thus reflects the collaborative power of the private sector, represented by HomePro, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and the public health sector, represented by Chulalongkorn Hospital, which is ready to move forward in creating a healthy society in all dimensions, including prevention, care, and sustainable participation from all sectors.
Mr. Chatchart Sitthiphan, Governor of Bangkok, stated, “Good health is a fundamental basis for sustainable quality of life. Bangkok supports health-promoting activities in all dimensions, especially exercise such as walking and running, which are simple yet effective activities. The initiative by a private sector like HomePro to creatively promote this campaign is a force that encourages the younger generation to get moving and take care of themselves, while helping to create a tangible healthy society.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chan Chai Sitthiphan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University and Director of Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, added, “Heart disease can be prevented if one starts taking care of themselves. Regular exercise is one of the most important approaches. Chulalongkorn Hospital thanks HomePro for initiating a project that sustainably connects health and giving, as the donations from this project will be used to purchase medical equipment for heart disease patients, ensuring that Thai people have access to quality, modern, and internationally standard care.”
