Six Senses <\/strong><\/span> has signed a hotel management agreement with Narai Hospitality Group, preparing to launch <\/span>Six Senses Bangkok <\/strong><\/span>, which will be part of the <\/span>Hatai <\/strong><\/span> mixed-use development project on the original site of the Narai Hotel, located in the prime area of Silom. The Narai Hotel first opened in 1968, pioneering the hotel industry in Thailand by creating a space for gatherings and transforming Silom into a thriving business and social district as we know it today. Over the past five decades, its dedication to exceptional service and unique character has made it a beloved destination for travelers, celebrities, and even royalty. With the collaboration with Narai Hospitality Group, a new chapter is about to begin for Six Senses Bangkok.<\/span><\/p>

The Square of Light: A Community Hub and a New Beginning<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Currently, the project is under development, with designs inspired by the elegance of traditional lanterns, crafted by the renowned Heatherwick Studio. The Hatai project is set to become a “Square of Lanterns” for Bangkok, showcasing cultural beauty through sustainable and innovative design, while revitalizing the surrounding area.<\/span><\/p>

Six Senses Bangkok will offer an elevated stay experience with over 100 spacious rooms and suites, enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere, providing a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, along with wellness amenities and attentive service.<\/span><\/p>

The project aims to achieve LEED Gold and WELL Gold certifications, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability in design and construction of environmentally friendly buildings. Additionally, the original wooden base of the structure will be carefully dismantled and repurposed as part of the interior design, aligning with Six Senses' philosophy of using locally sourced natural materials for sustainability.<\/span><\/p>

The hotel will feature a large 700-square-meter suite and a signature restaurant designed by renowned designer Joyce Wang. The interior design by BAR Studio includes a main dining area connected to a sky lobby through a biophilic design rooftop garden that harmoniously links people with nature, along with a rooftop pool offering a relaxing atmosphere for guests to escape the busy day. Moreover, Six Senses Spa Bangkok will provide unique treatments that blend advanced technology with personalized care, allowing guests to experience a variety of wellness programs, including sleep recovery, healthy dining, and a seamless integration of community charm.<\/span><\/p>

The launch of Six Senses Bangkok marks a return to the region where the brand originated, joining Six Senses Samui and Six Senses Yao Noi in Thailand. This reflects the brand's vision to perfectly convey its identity in major cities around the world, similar to Six Senses Rome and Six Senses Kyoto. Additionally, new hotel openings have been announced in London, Milan, Lisbon, Dubai, and Tel Aviv.<\/span><\/p>
