Central Pattana Reaffirms Its Leadership in Real Estate by Establishing Central Pattana Green Growth, Aiming for Decarbonization
- Driving the Green Growth Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with a primary focus on installing Solar Rooftops, targeting a total clean energy production of over 68 megawatts across various Central Pattana projects, while offering Green Solutions to companies both within and outside the group.
-
Place Making focuses on the Planet by developing projects that meet global standards. At the end of this year, we are set to launch “Central Krabi,” The First Prototype of Sustainable Mall in Thailand, showcasing the success of the Green Partnership that unites over 2,400 brands and stores to collectively reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, we have been dedicated to People for the past 45 years, contributing to Thai society through various financial and participatory projects.
-
We are also excited to share our sustainability story for the first time with the “RE” Lifestyle Roadshow focusing on environmental care and community love, starting at Central World from May 19-21, 2025, followed by Central Chiang Mai Airport on June 5, 2025, and several other locations throughout June, culminating at Central Krabi in October 2025.

Central Pattana Public Company Limited, the leading real estate company in Thailand for sustainability, under the vision of Imagining better futures for all, is advancing its sustainability goals towards Net Zero by 2050. We have announced the establishment of “Central Pattana Green Growth” to drive Decarbonization and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, collaborating with partners from all sectors to build on the success of the “Better Futures Projects” for the fourth year, and introducing the “RE” Lifestyle Roadshow focusing on environmental care and community love through highlights such as the “Electric Mobile Market”, which aims to reduce carbon emissions from events and travel by transforming electric pickup trucks into mobile event spaces, promoting a Worry-Free Journey with electric vehicles across Thailand, with charging stations available at Central shopping centers nationwide. The event was honored by Mr. Pornprom Na Songkhla, advisor to the Governor of Bangkok, who presided over the opening ceremony at Central World.
Mr. Naparat Sriwanwittaya, Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of the Finance and Accounting Group and the Hotel and Office Business Group at Central Pattana Public Company Limited, stated, “In addition to driving the country’s economy with an investment of over 120 billion baht within five years (2025-2029), as previously announced, Central Pattana also places great importance on social and environmental development through the model ‘The Ecosystem for All’, fostering collaboration among partners from both public and private sectors. We see business opportunities in the low-carbon economy and have established ‘Central Pattana Green Growth’ to actively drive Decarbonization and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Our initial plan includes installing Solar Rooftops to produce an additional 35 megawatts of clean energy (resulting in a total production capacity of over 68 megawatts for Central Pattana, accounting for 1.8% of the country’s solar energy production) for various Central Pattana projects. Moving forward, Central Pattana Green Growth aims to seek new technologies for energy and environmental management for all Central Pattana projects and leverage this expertise to provide services to other companies both within and outside the Central group.”
In addition to economic development, we also prioritize social and environmental development under the model ‘The Ecosystem for All’ with the company’s policy of being a Place Maker that integrates care for both People and Planet, including:
-
People: Over the past 45 years, Central Pattana has contributed to Thai society both financially and through various participatory initiatives (over 5 billion baht in the last 10 years), covering infrastructure development, public spaces, education, and opportunities in communities nationwide to promote Local Wealth, create jobs, and distribute income to various communities directly through “Central Tam” of the Central Group. We have also collaborated with the government, launching the project “Learning Well, Happy Future” last year with the Ministry of Education to develop children and youth in the long term.
-
Planet: As seen from various projects, we have globally recognized environmental standards. In October 2025, we are set to launch “Central Krabi,” aiming to be The First Prototype of Sustainable Mall in Thailand, focusing on Zero Carbon, building on the concept of the first Low Carbon Mall at “Central Westville.” We are committed to making all 42 Central shopping centers nationwide centers for raising awareness and understanding of sustainable business practices and lifestyles, such as the Green Partnership project, which has already collaborated with over 2,400 brands and stores to collectively reduce carbon emissions by minimizing energy use and waste segregation. The “Better Futures Projects” is one of the initiatives we want to communicate to show that living sustainably is easy and achievable. Over the past three years, participation in the event has continuously increased, with over 500,000 attendees recently.
According to Ms. Uthaiwan Anuchitanukul, Assistant Managing Director of Excellence Management and Sustainable Development at Central Pattana Public Company Limited, Central Pattana believes that sustainability is more than just about being green or environmental; it also includes taking action in all dimensions, including business operations and community care (ESG). We want to create a better future, which must start today and be done together with everyone. This year, we continue our commitment from day one to make sustainability an issue that is “easy to understand and achievable.” Therefore, we are introducing the concept of the first (RE) Lifestyle Roadshow, Central Pattana, focusing on environmental care and community love, presented through our Roadshow Event activities that communicate a lifestyle friendly to the planet while also promoting the community.”
