JLL has announced the appointment of Krit Pimhatthayawut as the new Managing Director for Thailand, while he will continue to serve as the head of the investment services business. This appointment will take effect on July 1. The selection of a new Managing Director reflects JLL's long-term goals and confidence in Thailand, which is one of the key markets for JLL's growth strategy in Southeast Asia.

As Managing Director, Krit will be responsible for overseeing all operations of JLL in Thailand, including managing various business units, organizational and personnel development, strategy formulation, and overseeing corporate performance, along with maintaining client relationships in the evolving and dynamic Thai real estate sector, as well as leading the domestic management team.

Michael Glancy, Managing Director of JLL for Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam stated, “Over the past five years, the Thai real estate sector has undergone rapid changes, and as we anticipate that this evolution will continue into the coming decade, we need a leader filled with energy and creativity to drive our next phase of business growth.”

Krit possesses natural leadership qualities and has developed JLL's Capital Markets business in Thailand into an undisputed market leader. The Capital Markets business that Krit oversees has excelled as an investment advisory firm capable of solving complex issues and closing significant deals in Thailand for our clients consistently.

Under Krit's leadership, we believe that the culture of delivering maximum success for our clients, which has been cultivated under his guidance in JLL's investment services, will be reflected in the broader responsibilities he will take on as our Managing Director in the rapidly evolving and changing market of Thailand.

Krit will continue to fulfill his current role as head of the investment services business. Throughout his tenure, Krit has played a crucial role in developing JLL's investment services and real estate advisory business. In 2024, the Capital Markets team led by Krit played a significant role in JLL being ranked as the number one investment advisory firm in Thailand by MSCI Real Assets for the fourth consecutive year, with a market share in Thailand of 93.6%. With this new appointment, Krit will also be part of JLL's Southeast Asia executive team.

Before taking on the role of Managing Director, Krit was responsible for JLL's investment services business since 2019 and had previously worked in the research and consulting services division of JLL across various sectors for five years. Krit will leverage this experience to enhance the organization and services for JLL's clients in his new role.

“I am honored to take on the role of Managing Director and will lead JLL towards the next phase of growth amidst the rapidly changing environment in the real estate sector. JLL has talented personnel, deep experience across various knowledge areas, and numerous success stories in serving our clients over the past period. These elements are crucial to our strong business foundation and enable us to provide high-quality and exceeding expectations services to our clients across all sectors continuously,” Krit stated.
