A new chapter for Sichon District in Nakhon Si Thammarat is beginning along its beautiful coastline with the Thailand Beach Teqball Open 2025, held from April 5-6. This event not only provided fun through teqball but also showcased the potential of Sichon as a tourist destination rich in nature, culture, and vibrant communities.

The future Banyan Tree Residences Sichon vacation home project is located nearby, attracting families, friends, and tourists to spend their weekends amidst a lively atmosphere filled with sports, local food, live music, and community-driven activities. Children enjoyed the beach while parents cheered from the sidelines, creating a memorable experience filled with joy for all ages.

One of the most meaningful moments was the beach cleanup activity with the community, reflecting the deep bond the people of Sichon have with nature and each other. This activity not only showcased the pride the community has in their hometown but also emphasized their collective commitment to preserving the identity and beauty of Sichon's coastline sustainably.

“We believe that true progress can only happen when we grow alongside the local community,” said Ravi Chandran, Executive Director of Urasa Property. “This event demonstrates the power of unity. When community members, businesses, and families come together, we can create something sustainable. The community is not just a part of our vision; it is the foundation of everything we aim to achieve.”

This event was made possible through the support of the Phuket Sports Association and key sponsors including Banyan Group, Mercedes-Benz Phuket, UOB Bank, and local partners like Talay Jai Concrete Co., Ltd. This collaboration highlights the strength of partnerships between national brands and local community networks to elevate new destinations like Sichon sustainably.

Additionally, the event was filled with excitement as former Premier League footballer Keith Gillespie attended, inspiring young athletes and creating great memories for fans. One of the highlights of the weekend was a fun match between Gillespie and beloved Thai singer Baw Vee, filling the atmosphere with cheers and laughter from audiences of all ages.

Live performances from popular artists included Luang Kai on April 5 and Baw Vee on April 6, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere that continued into the night. Just 35 minutes from the new Nakhon Si Thammarat International Airport, Sichon District is emerging as a memorable tourist destination with its pristine beaches, a strong sense of community, and ongoing new developments, all combining nature and a commitment to sustainable growth.
