Samsung Launches New AI Air Conditioner Under the Bespoke AI WindFree™ Concept
Samsung , a global leader in AI innovation and air conditioning systems, unveiled a new vision for the year at the Samsung AC & B2B Partner Conference 2025 under the theme "AI Leading The New Era," focusing on advancing product and service development into a new era that emphasizes the crucial role of AI technology, reinforcing the vision of "AI for All" announced at the recent CES 2025. This initiative aims to transform everyday living experiences with AI, as well as introduce innovations and solutions in the business sector that focus on enhancing efficiency, reducing complexity, and adding value to business operations.

Ms. Apiradee Phaholwetch, Director of the Air Conditioning Business Group and Home Appliances for Corporate Customers at Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. said, "In 2024, our commitment to developing effective solutions that meet the needs of both households and businesses has resulted in significant growth in the premium air conditioning segment, including WindFree™, Cassette, and DVM, which saw growth of over 10%. Notably, Samsung's Cassette type experienced a remarkable growth of 50% compared to 2023. We aim to build on this success by integrating IoT technology through the SmartThings platform for general consumers and SmartThings Pro for businesses, creating seamlessly connected products that can be customized to meet user needs, whether in a smart home or smart building, enhancing efficiency across the business spectrum. Additionally, we plan to expand collaborations with partners both domestically and internationally to elevate new standards in technology and innovation for businesses."

During the Samsung AC & B2B Partner Conference 2025, Samsung also launched a lineup of residential air conditioners featuring new AI innovations under the Bespoke AI WindFree™ concept, consisting of 6 models that can connect with Galaxy products such as smart rings, smartwatches, mobile phones, and tablets. These models enhance sleep quality with Good Sleep mode and Dry Comfort mode, which includes sensors to maintain optimal humidity levels without feeling cold. Additionally, there is an AI Energy Mode that can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%. Furthermore, commercial air conditioning units such as DVM S2, DVM Water, and Solar Cell remote control were also introduced, along with home appliances under the Bespoke AI Home concept that connects air conditioners, air purifiers, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and vacuum cleaners through SmartThings.
