Haier has reaffirmed its position as a global leader in the home appliance sector by being ranked as the number 1 brand based on sales for the year 2024 by Euromonitor International, a renowned global research institution. This marks the 16th consecutive year that Haier has held the top position on the world stage.

According to the latest data from Euromonitor International, Haier continues to lead in the major appliance category as follows: Refrigerators: Haier has been the world’s number 1 brand based on sales for 17 consecutive years; Washing Machines: Haier remains the world’s number 1 brand for 16 consecutive years; Freezers: Haier has been the number 1 leader for 14 consecutive years; Electric Wine Coolers: Haier has held the top position for 15 consecutive years.

Haier is committed to expanding its global business to accommodate market growth and target audiences more effectively, increasing investments in both the supply chain and brand development in 2024. For instance, in Thailand, Haier has begun construction of a new air conditioning industrial park, which will become the largest manufacturing base for Chinese brands in Thailand and Southeast Asia. In Egypt, Haier launched the first phase of the Egypt Eco Park industrial complex and laid the foundation stone for the second phase to promote growth and brand leadership in Egypt, as well as in the broader Middle East and North Africa region.

Additionally, Haier continues to expand its global business scope through strategic acquisitions.
