SCG has been selected as a “Sustainable Stock SET ESG Ratings” Level AAA for the year 2024 , which is the highest level awarded by the Stock Exchange of Thailand. This reflects the company's commitment to conducting business with consideration for all stakeholders while taking responsibility for the environment and society through good governance practices based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. This aligns with the trend of sustainable investment through green innovations, driving economic, social, and environmental growth together.

In the past, SCG has focused on enhancing its competitive capabilities by continuously developing green product innovations that respond to eco-conscious customer trends in line with the Inclusive Green Growth approach. This creates opportunities and business advantages, developing high-value green innovations and reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the production process. For instance, low-carbon cement Generation 2 has received positive feedback, while the eco-friendly housing solution “CPAC Mini Mixer” is suitable for construction in limited spaces, helping to reduce noise pollution. Additionally, “CPAC Low Carbon Concrete” addresses PM 2.5 dust issues, and SCGC GREEN POLYMERTM continues to grow. Furthermore, the company is advancing its clean energy business with the “Rondo Heat Battery,” which stores heat energy from clean sources.

Since 2015, the Stock Exchange of Thailand has established the “Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI)” list, which includes stocks of registered companies that operate sustainably with consideration for the environment, social responsibility, and governance principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance: ESG). This serves as an alternative for investors to use as information for investment decision-making. In 2023, the Stock Exchange renamed the “Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI)” list to “Sustainable Stock SET ESG Ratings” and announced the evaluation results in the form of ESG Ratings for the first time to promote informed investment decision-making.
