The Thai Real Estate Association, the Housing Business Association, and the Thai Condominium Association are thrilled with the success of the 46th Housing and Condo Expo, which achieved sales exceeding 6 billion baht. Additionally, the number of loan applications surpassed the set target, reflecting the strength of the Thai real estate sector and stimulating purchasing power as the year comes to a close.

Mr. Thirachon Thanetdesh Sunthorn, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 46th Housing and Condo Expo, stated, "As a representative of the three organizing associations, I would like to thank all member companies and leading financial institutions for their collaborative efforts in making this expo a resounding success beyond expectations. The public response was excellent, with attendance over the four-day event from October 31 to November 3, 2023, increasing by 20% compared to the previous event. The number of housing bookings during the expo exceeded 6 billion baht, and we anticipate that post-event sales will be at least two to three times higher, resulting in a total value exceeding 10 billion baht. This is a source of pride for the 46th Housing and Condo Expo, as it fulfilled its objectives of helping Thai people realize their dream of homeownership and boosting sales for developers at the year's end, while also contributing to the ongoing stimulation of the Thai economy in the real estate sector."

The statistics from this event are quite satisfactory, with over 10,000 pre-registered attendees, doubling the previous event's figures. During the expo, attendance increased by 20% compared to last time, indicating growing interest. Preliminary data shows that 15% of attendees were aged 20-30, 50% were 30-40, and around 30% were 40-50, while those over 50 made up another 5-10%. In terms of housing product interest, 60% favored condos, 20% townhouses, and 10% single-family homes, with the remaining categories, including duplexes and commercial buildings, being similarly represented. The attractive promotions from various developers during the event led to a surge in bookings and loan applications exceeding targets, Mr. Thirachon added.

The 47th Housing and Condo Expo is scheduled to take place from March 20 to 23, 2024, at Hall 5, LG Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, with Dr. Donpiwat Pridawepat serving as the chairman of the organizing committee.
