Throughout its history, Phramongkutklao Hospital has focused on providing medical services to the public, including assisting underprivileged patients in accessing public health services and receiving equal treatment. However, due to the current situation where the number of patients seeking treatment has increased and medical personnel are limited, there is a significant need for additional funding to enhance patient access to care. Consequently, the Phramongkutklao Hospital Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was established to support the hospital's medical mission. Additionally, the Foundation for the College of Medicine, Phramongkutklao Hospital, under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was founded as the only military medical training institute in Thailand to respond to the current demand for specialized medical personnel in the Thai public health system. The focus is on producing skilled medical professionals while training and developing the potential of medical students and specialized medical personnel in all fields to align with the continuous advancement of medical technology. Furthermore, there is an emphasis on promoting medical research and education, aiming to create new leaders for global health. To date, over 2,000 medical graduates have been produced who can support the country's public health system and are prepared to handle various emergencies that may arise.

Major General Thamrongroj Temudom, Chairman of the Phramongkutklao Hospital Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Chairman of the Foundation for the College of Medicine, Phramongkutklao Hospital, under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn stated that:

“Phramongkutklao Hospital aims to be a medical service institution with international standards and to be one of the first hospitals that the public thinks of for treatment. We are committed to improving medical care for all groups of people, as the current number of patients utilizing our services is significant. Therefore, the hospital has enhanced patient care efficiency to ensure comprehensive service delivery while reducing congestion and increasing convenience for patients. We have developed the PMK Smart Application to support nationwide patient care services, with approximately 10,000 individuals already registered to receive services through the application. In addition to focusing on reducing congestion and improving service efficiency, we also recognize the importance of developing the skills and potential of both medical graduates and hospital personnel. Thus, we have established two new entities: the Learning and Innovation Center of the College of Medicine, Phramongkutklao Hospital, and the Cancer Center of Phramongkutklao Hospital, which still require significant funding to support their development. Once completed, these centers will enhance the educational experience of medical students, produce quality medical graduates for society, and increase access to treatment while supporting medical capabilities and providing medical equipment to ensure optimal patient care. To achieve these goals, we are organizing the 4th concert "Feathers and Flowers" themed DREAM FOR LOVE as a charity event to ensure the continuity of these initiatives and to engage with the public, creating opportunities for our organization to be better known in society.”

To achieve the goal of being a medical service institution with international standards and to be one of the first hospitals that the public thinks of for treatment, we are committed to improving care for the public. Therefore, we aim to enhance efficiency in all aspects, whether it is reducing congestion while improving service efficiency through the development of the PMK Smart Application to facilitate convenient, fast, and easy access to medical care with comprehensive functions, providing comfort to users. This application is designed to support nationwide patient care services, especially in remote areas, by elevating medical services to a digital format with various features, including online appointment scheduling, access to medical history and treatment results, telemedicine consultations with hospital physicians, and home delivery of medications for patient convenience. Additionally, we prioritize developing the potential of medical graduates and hospital personnel by enhancing infrastructure through the establishment of two new entities:

Learning and Innovation Center of the College of Medicine, Phramongkutklao Hospital to enhance the educational experience of medical students through simulated training scenarios to produce quality medical graduates for society, further supporting the country's public health system.

Cancer Center of Phramongkutklao Hospital to provide comprehensive services for cancer patients across all specialties, utilizing modern medical practices and technologies, including chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation, and integrating technology into cancer patient treatment.

Currently, modern patient treatment is continuously evolving, especially with new knowledge. The rapid changes in medical tools and advanced technologies can greatly benefit the public if developed. The hospital still seeks technology, innovation, and new knowledge to enhance disease diagnosis and treatment, ensuring that patient care is efficient, comprehensive, and effective. However, there is still a significant budget shortfall in this area, prompting collaboration with the private sector to organize the 4th concert "Feathers and Flowers" themed DREAM FOR LOVE as a charity event by the Phramongkutklao Hospital Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, in collaboration with the Foundation for the College of Medicine, Phramongkutklao Hospital under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani .
