This festival is the largest Vegetarian Festival in the world and is an important event recognized as a Soft Power of Phuket and Thailand, serving as a flagship global event that stimulates the economy and distributes income to local people. Additionally, Phuket has been selected by UNESCO as a Creative City of Gastronomy, being the first city in ASEAN to receive this award since 2015.
