Rayong: September 12, 2024 - GC Logistics Solutions Co., Ltd. (GCL) has announced its name change to WHA GC Logistics Co., Ltd. abbreviated as “WGCL” and held the WGCL Grand Opening event at the International Distribution Center in Rayong Province.

The event was honored by Khun Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Chairwoman of the Executive Board and CEO of WHA Corporation Public Company Limited, and Khun Narongsak Jiwakanant, CEO of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), who jointly presided over the ceremony and extended their congratulations.

This name change and new logo “WGCL” reflects the status of the company as a Joint Venture between GC and WHA, following the transition from being a subsidiary of GC to a joint venture on December 21, 2023.

In this transition, GC agreed to sell 50% of GCL shares valued at 2.64 billion baht to WHA Venture Holding Co., Ltd. (WHAVH), aiming to strengthen WGCL in terms of expertise, strengths, and leadership in the logistics and petrochemical markets of both companies, committed to developing and creating a stable future for WGCL.
