Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) secured four significant awards at the IAG Academy IR Awards 2024 held in Manila, Philippines, yesterday, making it the most awarded integrated resort operator from Macau at this event. One of the prestigious awards received was the "Outstanding CEO" awarded to Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG, in recognition of his exceptional leadership in innovation, creativity, and new initiatives that have added value to the organization over the past 12 months. Additionally, Galaxy Macau, GEG's flagship business, won the "Best Integrated Resort" and "Best Overall F&B Offering by an IR" awards for the second consecutive year. Meanwhile, Raffles at Galaxy Macau, a hotel from a leading global brand, was awarded "Best Hotel Attached to an IR." Mr. Andy Lee, Deputy Director of Operations at StarWorld Hotel, attended the ceremony to accept the awards on behalf of GEG.

Over the years, GEG has actively supported the policies of the Macau Special Administrative Region government by continuously introducing new projects, products, and services in tourism, entertainment, and leisure through its various subsidiaries. These include the integrated resort Galaxy Macau, the Galaxy International Convention Center with 40,000 square meters of MICE space, and Galaxy Arena, the largest indoor sports venue in Macau. GEG also supports international conferences, shows, sports events, cultural activities, and other related events held in Macau to promote diverse industry development and help maintain Macau's status as a "World Center of Tourism and Leisure".

Galaxy Macau has consistently been popular as a world-class integrated leisure and tourism destination, featuring eight international hotel brands and a variety of amenities beyond the casino, including over 120 restaurants ranging from Michelin-starred to traditional gourmet dining, as evidenced by this year's "Best Overall F&B Offering by an IR" award. Additionally, Galaxy Macau boasts the Grand Resort Deck, a world-class sky-high water park, Galaxy Promenade with luxury brand retail shops and five-star spas, and Galaxy Cinemas, a cinema equipped with modern technology and luxurious amenities tailored for each customer. Raffles at Galaxy Macau is the largest hotel in the Raffles brand, featuring only suites, and has been highly popular among tourists since its opening last year. Raffles at Galaxy Macau has received the "Best Hotel Attached to an IR" award this year, and soon, around mid-next year, Capella at Galaxy Macau, another hotel from a global brand, will open as the ninth hotel in Galaxy Macau, further enhancing Macau's status as a high-end tourism and leisure destination.

Throughout the years, GEG has contributed to the sustainable development of Macau's integrated tourism and leisure industry, a role that has been highly recognized. This year, GEG received the Sustainability Award from the International Gaming Awards, considered the "Oscar" of the global casino industry, for the second consecutive year. Additionally, GEG achieved top scores in four award categories at the Travel Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2024, with Galaxy Macau winning the "Best Integrated Resort in Asia Pacific" award. Looking ahead, GEG remains committed to its service philosophy of "World Class, Asian Heart," providing world-class integrated resort experiences to customers and supporting Macau's economic diversification through various collaborative approaches.
