Frasers Property Thailand's Industrial Real Estate Group reinforces its market leadership by winning two international awards: the Best Industrial Developer Thailand from the World Economic Magazine Awards and the Green Leadership award from the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA).

These awards recognize leading organizations that play a significant role in sustainability efforts in the Asia region.

Mr. Pirapat Srisukont, Acting CEO of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, stated that the two awards highlight the company's leadership in industrial real estate development and reflect its commitment to developing high-quality factories and warehouses that are customer-centric, alongside sustainable operations. This aligns with Frasers Property Group's goal of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, with new projects aiming for international sustainability standards. One notable project that contributed to these awards is the development of the largest and most modern sorting center in Southeast Asia for SPX Express, a logistics provider for the leading e-commerce platform Shopee.

This sorting center is a built-to-suit warehouse covering 73,000 square meters on a 74-rai site within the Frasers Property Logistics Park (Wang Noi 2) in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. It features an automated sorting system capable of processing up to 2.2 million boxes per day and has 260 double cross-docking doors around the building, allowing for continuous loading and unloading of goods. This enables rapid sorting and distribution of large volumes of products, supporting the rapidly growing e-commerce market.

Additionally, the building is designed for energy conservation and efficient resource management, utilizing construction materials with recycled content, energy-saving LED lighting, water-saving fixtures, and promoting clean energy through the installation of a 275-kilowatt solar panel system, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 180 tons per year, equivalent to planting 3,500 trees. The building also enhances the quality of life for its users by providing comprehensive facilities and is currently seeking LEED Gold certification.
