Today, the Rattanarak Group, the largest shareholder of Nakhon Luang Cement, has acquired an additional 25.54% of shares from Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited. This brings the total shareholding of the Rattanarak Group to approximately 71.88%. This acquisition necessitates a tender offer for the remaining shares from minority shareholders. The company understands that regardless of the outcome of this tender offer, Nakhon Luang Cement will continue to be a publicly listed company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in accordance with relevant registration regulations. Following this acquisition, the Rattanarak Group, which founded Nakhon Luang Cement in 1969, will be the sole major shareholder with controlling power.

The acquisition of shares in Nakhon Luang Cement by the Rattanarak Group demonstrates their confidence in the potential of the infrastructure and construction market, as well as the potential of the cement and construction materials business, including aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, and pre-mixed cement (mortar), along with innovative materials and architectural materials such as Conwood and lightweight precast walls marketed under the ISUB brand. Currently, Nakhon Luang Cement holds a leading position in the cement market in southern Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia (through joint ventures), making it a regional construction materials business with diverse growth opportunities. However, at this time, Nakhon Luang Cement is focusing on expanding into waste management services and related services in the industry, operating through Ecocycle Business Units in Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia.

Nakhon Luang Cement is committed to strategically operating to position the company as one of the market leaders, adhering to the highest standards in both professionalism and industry standards, ensuring that the business of Nakhon Luang Cement grows in line with opportunities in infrastructure and residential areas, as well as various opportunities for the Ecocycle Business Units that will arise in the future.
