“Pruksa Holding” has announced its first half performance for 2024, generating revenue of 9.864 billion baht. The healthcare business continues to grow in all dimensions, with revenue increasing by 19%. The company is moving forward with investments as planned, constructing and preparing to open 6 new medical facilities, while also diversifying its business by launching “Wizlah TH”, a comprehensive e-marketplace for interior design that transforms the home design and decoration industry with smart furniture and 3D AI AR technology, making home decoration easy with just a touch.

Mr. Uthen Lohachitpitak, CEO of Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited revealed that the company achieved revenue of 9.864 billion baht in the first half of 2024, maintaining a strong gross profit margin of 33% and a solid financial position, with a low net gearing ratio of 0.39 times.

In the real estate sector, the company recorded transfer sales of 8.31 billion baht and sales of 7.478 billion baht in the first half. The single-house product category achieved sales of 2.696 billion baht, growing approximately 9% compared to the same period last year. The company launched 6 new projects valued at 7.509 billion baht and plans to open 23 projects worth 19.6 billion baht in the second half, including highlights such as “The Palm Taveewattana,” a luxury single-house project of 120 square wah connecting Borommaratchachonnani Road - Pinklao, and “The Palm Residences Pattanakarn,” a project certified by Tree Certified Home, which will reduce residents' electricity usage by over 50% and focus on comprehensive health care. All projects are designed to suit residents of all ages, incorporating innovative living solutions while being mindful of environmental impacts. The company also has a backlog of approximately 4.9 billion baht (65% expected to be transferred this year) and additional unsold inventory valued at 62.577 billion baht, supporting growth for up to 2.5 years.

Earlier this August, the company underwent an organizational restructuring and appointed senior executives to seriously expand its construction and precast businesses, enhancing the agility of each unit to allow full management and planning autonomy. The construction business under the name “Inno Home Construction” is currently the largest single-family home construction company in Thailand, providing one-stop construction services for landowners, with a backlog of around 2.8 billion baht. Meanwhile, the precast business under the name “Inno Precast” operates the largest green precast factory in Thailand and is expanding production capabilities to support condominium construction, featuring a zero-waste factory that produces low-carbon precast products and is the first and only in Thailand to receive Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR) certification. The current backlog stands at approximately 4.3 billion baht.

Additionally, the company aims to expand its real estate business comprehensively and has launched “Wizlah TH”, a fully integrated e-marketplace for interior design, in partnership with “Sunray Group,” the largest comprehensive design, construction, and interior decoration company in Singapore. The full launch of Wizlah Super App will serve as a platform connecting architects and clients within the home decoration ecosystem, leveraging AI, AR, and 3D technology to simulate interior decoration and visualize furniture in realistic 3D before purchase, reducing customer hesitation from not being able to see and touch the actual products. Furthermore, the built-in and fit-in design services utilize high-standard factory production technology, allowing for quick on-site installation, with customers able to customize sizes and order products to fit their spaces, ensuring 100% completion with architects overseeing the work from start to finish.

“Wizlah Super App will be the hub for collecting design works from architects, interior designers, and landscape architects, providing customers with information on home decoration, design ideas, and inspiration, as well as purchasing smart furniture and home decor products. This is a transformative step in the home design and decoration industry, making home decoration as easy as a touch of a finger. We are also extending this new service to customers who purchase Pruksa residences,” Mr. Uthen added.

In the healthcare sector, there is growth in all dimensions, with revenue of 1.013 billion baht in the first half, a 19% increase compared to the same period in 2023, with the highest revenue recorded in June. This growth comes from both inpatient and outpatient services, particularly in complex disease treatments and increased surgeries, by developing standards to match medical school levels, as well as marketing efforts in neighboring countries, the Middle East, China, and Australia. During the past year, Vimut partnered with “Namviwat” to establish a joint venture, 'Serviso Healthcare Solutions', providing cleaning and sterilization services for medical instruments, managing medical waste, and offering biomedical engineering services. Additionally, Vimut has expanded its customer base to large organizations through the launch of the Vimut-Nallury program to care for users and prevent non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and services for large companies in Thailand to create pathways to Vimut Hospital, offering health check-ups and medical treatments for interested clients. They have also established the first gut microbiome research laboratory in Thailand in collaboration with AMILI, the most precise gut microbiome biotechnology company in Southeast Asia.

Furthermore, Vimut is proceeding with investment plans totaling over 1.5 billion baht, preparing to open a specialized hospital in Thonglor and two elderly care hospitals in Watcharapol and Bearing, along with three care centers for patients and the elderly in Chaengwattana, Rama 2, and Charansanitwong, in collaboration with KPN Senior Hospital Group, a leader in elderly healthcare, all aimed at enhancing the ecosystem within the Pruksa group to meet the lifestyle framework of “Living Well, Living Happy.”
