CP LAND Public Company Limited, a leading real estate developer in Thailand, has announced a collaboration with Minor Hotels, a subsidiary of Minor International Public Company Limited (MINT), one of the largest companies in the hotel, restaurant, and lifestyle sectors in the Asia-Pacific region. This partnership marks a new era for the Fortune Hotel Group, with the Grand Fortune Hotel Bangkok being the first to be managed under the Avani Hotels & Resorts brand, an upscale lifestyle brand within the Minor Hotels portfolio, starting from September 1, 2024. Additional hotels in the group are set to be managed in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Mr. Kirati Satasuk, CEO of CP LAND, stated that this collaboration represents a strategic partnership between the hotel businesses of CP LAND and Minor Hotels. It opens opportunities for Minor Hotels to expand its hotel management presence in regional Thailand. As a regional real estate leader, CP LAND aims to enhance service quality and leverage the potential of its existing hotels to attract international clientele, while planning to strengthen this collaboration to become a key player in Thailand's hospitality sector, driving economic growth, job creation, and increased revenue for the tourism and service industries.

“With its prime location in the city center, just 30 minutes from both international airports in Bangkok, Avani Ratchada is ideally positioned to attract both leisure and business travelers,” said Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor International and Minor Hotels. “We are proud to partner with CP LAND to deliver the best in service, dining, and amenities, including MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) offerings at this new Avani hotel in the Ratchada business district.”

The Fortune Hotel Group of CP LAND will begin transitioning the management of the Grand Fortune Hotel Bangkok to Minor Hotels under the Avani Hotels & Resorts brand on September 1, 2024, followed by a major renovation and rebranding to the Avani brand thereafter. CP LAND will gradually transfer management of additional Fortune Group hotels across the country to Minor Hotels in the fourth quarter of 2024 and throughout 2025.
