Phuket continues to heat up! Origin has achieved over 70% sales for “SO Origin Bangtao Beach.” For the entire year, the company plans to launch 33 new housing and condominium projects nationwide, valued at 34 billion baht.
Origin Property kicks off 2024 with strong sales in Phuket. In the first quarter of 2024, the company reported over 70% sales for the new project “SO Origin Bangtao Beach.” The design and location cater to both Thai and foreign buyers. For the entire year, the company is preparing to launch 33 new housing and condominium projects nationwide, with a total project value of 34 billion baht. They are expanding the Origin Pet Family, introducing pet-friendly condos in various locations in Bangkok and its suburbs for the first time, while continuing new projects in Phuket and launching housing developments in the western and eastern parts of Bangkok.

Mr. Pirapong Jaroonaek, Chief Executive Officer of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), a comprehensive real estate developer, revealed that in the first quarter of 2024 (January-March 2024), the company launched two new projects in provincial areas, with a total project value of 2.85 billion baht, including:
1. SO Origin Bangtao Beach - a condominium project located in the mixed-use area of “Origin Resort World Phuket | Bangtao Beach.”
2. Dusit Suites Residences Khao Yai - a branded residence villa project under the Dusit Thani brand, located in the mixed-use area of “Origin Resort World | Khao Yai.”

Initially, the company received excellent feedback from both new projects in major city areas, especially the SO Origin Bangtao Beach project, which has accumulated over 70% sales. This is due to the project's location on a beach ideal for relaxation, convenient access to various points in Phuket, and a distinctive design that meets the needs of both local and foreign buyers, whether for personal residence or investment. The ongoing recovery of the tourism sector has further supported this success, reaffirming Origin's achievements in Phuket, where they previously sold out The Origin Centre Phuket within six weeks, along with other projects in Phuket like The Origin Kathu-Patong, which continue to receive positive consumer responses.

Although only two new projects were launched in the first quarter of 2024, the strong demand in the Phuket area and positive customer responses from various locations that were gradually launched earlier have resulted in total sales for the company in the first quarter of 2024 reaching 8.139 billion baht, with approximately 78% from the condominium business and about 22% from the housing development business under Brittania Public Company Limited (BRI).
Mr. Pirapong further stated that this year, the company plans to launch another 33 new projects nationwide, with a total project value of approximately 34 billion baht, including 14 condominium projects under Origin Vertical Corporation Limited or ORIGIN VERTICAL.
“The highlight of the condominium sector this year is the continued expansion of the Origin Pet Family to target the pet lover market. In some locations, we will create the first pet-friendly condos in those areas. At the same time, we will continue to push into Phuket and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which are two locations with high demand, and we continue to receive positive responses from customers, such as the upcoming development of Origin Place Center Phuket,” said Mr. Pirapong.
For the housing projects under Brittania Public Company Limited (BRI), 19 new projects will be launched, focusing on expanding both the western and eastern sides of Bangkok, which are areas where the company has received strong responses. The company will continue to leverage its strengths in location and design that cater to the lifestyles of all generations to meet consumer needs.
