Siam Sindhorn Group Reinforces 10 Years of Sustainable Success Driving Low-Carbon Real Estate with LEED Campus – Mixed-Use Eco-Friendly Projects
Siam Sindhorn Group emphasizes over 10 years of driving environmentally friendly real estate business and adhering to sustainable practices, achieving the goal of developing Sindhorn Village (Sindhorn Village) as the largest LEED Campus in Thailand and the largest Mixed-Use project certified with green building standards in Southeast Asia. Committed to creating a sustainable community through the Think Future Think Green @ Sindhorn Village, awakening the green generation to join in transforming society for the better from March 28 to 31, 2024, at the Velaa Langsuan project.

Mr. Apichai Siridamrongpan, Managing Director of Siam Sindhorn Co., Ltd. revealed that Siam Sindhorn Group has a vision to drive environmentally friendly real estate business and operate sustainably, considering the quality of life for residents and users, aiming to reduce impacts in all dimensions, including environmental, social, and community aspects, as well as fairness and transparency in management, reflected through development projects under Siam Sindhorn Group over the past 10 years.

Sindhorn Village is the largest Mixed-Use project in Thailand and Southeast Asia, certified with LEED standards on over 42 rai in the heart of Bangkok on Lang Suan Road, consisting of 5 condominium buildings: Sindhorn Residence, Sindhorn Tonson, Sindhorn Lumpini, The Residences at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, and Baan Sindhorn; 3 five-star hotels: Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok Hotel, and Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection; and 1 office building: Sindhorn Offices.
Green Building with LEED Standards
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a system used to evaluate buildings worldwide in terms of energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, covering everything from design, construction, operation, maintenance, and impacts on surrounding areas.
The development approach of Sindhorn Village follows international standards with environmentally friendly features from the design stage, including the use of energy-saving materials such as triple-glazed glass designed to block heat, UV rays, and external noise, enhancing livability and energy efficiency. The open-space design allows natural light to reduce energy consumption within the building while providing full views of the outside. The project also tests the air quality of the rooms and introduces clean, fresh air from outside, ensuring that every room in the Sindhorn Village project has clean air suitable for living.

Planting over 200,000 trees for a better quality of life in the city
Another important aspect that aligns Sindhorn Village with the vision of developing environmentally friendly real estate is that over 65% of the project area is green space, with more than 300 large trees planted, some over 100 years old, to enhance the quality of life for residents and users. The green building initiative of the project can reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 5,000 tons per year, equivalent to planting over 215,000 trees, as if the project has returned 7.5 parks of Lumpini back to society.
