HomePro is adapting to lead the trend, reinforcing its position as the number one business in Home Solution and Living Experience in Thailand by announcing its 5-year strategic direction and plan to expand its business to 100 billion baht, aiming for continuous market share growth. The company is also driving its business with a sustainability plan for balanced and sustainable growth, targeting a global Net Zero by 2050, alongside the debut of the "First Closed Loop Circular Appliances" at the HOMEPRO NEXT CHAPTER event, moving towards success under the concept of "MAKE EVERY CHANGE A BETTER LIFE" to improve living conditions in every life transition.

Mr. Weerapand Angsumalee, Managing Director of Home Product Center Public Company Limited (HomePro) stated that the overall business in 2023 has achieved sales of 68 billion baht, growing approximately 20% from the previous year. In the first half of the year, the company benefited from the "Shop Good, Get Refund" policy and the hot weather, leading to strong sales of electrical appliances such as air conditioners and fans. However, the delayed government formation towards the end of the year has slowed down the economy, impacting HomePro's sales. Nevertheless, the company's expansion policy, improved internal management efficiency, and the campaign "Trade Old for a New World" allowed customers to exchange old items for new ones with discounts of up to 5,000 baht, resulting in 100,000 items participating in the campaign, valued at 2-3 billion baht, thus still achieving growth compared to the previous year.

For 2024, it is anticipated that the government's economic stimulus policies, such as the Digital Wallet, will increase citizens' disposable income, benefiting the retail sector, including HomePro. The company plans to invest 8 billion baht to open new branches and renovate 6-8 existing branches, covering an area of 6,000-8,000 square meters, expanding from the current 127 branches in Thailand and 7 branches in Malaysia.

To reinforce its leadership in the Home Solution and Living Experience business in Thailand, HomePro has set a 5-year strategic plan (2024-2028) to expand its business to 100 billion baht, aiming for continuous market share growth.

Under the 5-year strategic plan, HomePro aims to expand its branches to cover all areas nationwide with over 170 branches, enhance online sales channels for seamless connectivity, support B2C customers, and expand its customer base to B2B. The company will also develop three apps for uninterrupted shopping (HomePro Online, Home Service, Home Card), improve transportation and logistics systems, expand its area by over 100,000 square meters to meet nationwide demand, and enhance the efficiency of the largest distribution center in Asia, handling over 400,000 items daily with an automated warehouse system for effective and accurate inventory management. Additionally, it will offer low-cost warehouse rental services and return transportation, ensuring quality and speedy delivery of products and services while driving the business with a sustainability plan for balanced and sustainable growth in all dimensions, aiming for a global Net Zero by 2050.

Furthermore, the company is collaborating with partners across all sectors to embrace future global trends, focusing on comprehensive clean energy through transportation, transitioning to electric vehicles (EV Trucks) with a target of achieving about 50% by 2030, having already installed solar panels at over 80 branches, generating more than 60 MWh of electricity, with plans for continuous expansion, and supporting employees in using clean energy vehicles.
