NocNoc Unveils 2024 Plans to Transform into a Home and Living Destination with AI, Aiming for 40% Growth
NocNoc is thrilled to report over 100% sales growth by the end of 2023. The company is gearing up for 2024 with a target of 6.5 billion baht, fully committing to transforming into a Home and Living Destination utilizing AI and Platform Technology. NocNoc will enhance its Home Solution offerings, providing a comprehensive One Stop Service that includes inspiration, product selection, installation services, and maintenance for all areas of life, tailored to each customer's unique experience (Personalized Experience). The focus will be on creating genuine value for both customers and retailers.
Chollakarn Mahasuvichai, CEO of Betterbee Marketplace Co., Ltd. (NocNoc) stated that NocNoc's overall business performance in 2023 showed robust growth, with sales increasing by over 100%. This success is attributed to deeper and broader customer reach, as well as the expansion of the residential and commercial markets, especially online.
NocNoc began developing its platform for living in 2019, believing that a marketplace model would facilitate connections between buyers and sellers. Customers can choose home-related products and services to fulfill their dream of owning a home, while businesses, both large and small, can find suitable customers for their offerings. This year, NocNoc aims to become a Home and Living Destination that helps everyone in ASEAN fulfill their living spaces as they dream. The company will assist customers from inspiration to idea generation, product selection, and services that match their lifestyle needs.
“NocNoc's goal is not to operate for short-term profits or to outdo competitors; rather, NocNoc aims to care for and support the entire ecosystem, including customers, sellers, craftsmen, designers, and partners in the industry. The key factors driving NocNoc's growth and ecosystem care are people. The NocNoc team shares a common dream of growing NocNoc for the betterment of everyone in our ecosystem. We care for people with trust, believing that utilizing their potential will earn NocNoc trust from everyone in the ecosystem as well. Technology is also crucial; we believe it will create value for customers in the Home and Living sector. NocNoc has already effectively pioneered this transformation and will continue to invest in leading technology to enhance customer and seller experiences, both in platform efficiency and AI utilization,” Chollakarn stated.
According to Anupong Tasadwok, Chief Commercial Officer of Betterbee Marketplace Co., Ltd. (NocNoc), the main strategy for NocNoc in 2024 will focus on personalized marketing or creating unique customer experiences. The primary customer base for NocNoc consists of individuals living in Bangkok and its suburbs, aged 25-45. However, customers in major cities across Thailand also show significant potential, as evidenced by the growing business sector expanding into various cities each year, leading to increased demand.
In 2024, NocNoc aims to enhance the appeal and uniqueness of home products through Inspiration and Idea, particularly by showcasing home products in various formats (Roomscene InspiREALtion) to help customers visualize how these products would look in their own homes. NocNoc wants each purchase to stem from genuine desire or a clear vision of how they want to decorate their homes. The company will also expand access to home products and services through online to offline (Omni Channel) initiatives, including NocNoc Fair and Pop-up Stores, to cater to customers wanting to experience products in person while gathering home decoration ideas.
“We have achieved significant success online, but as the COVID-19 situation has improved, people are returning to offline living. This allows NocNoc to reach customers both online and offline, aligning with the purchasing behavior of customers in the Home and Living sector and further strengthening NocNoc's brand,” Anupong stated.
To reinforce its position as a Home and Living Destination that simplifies all aspects of living for everyone, addressing every stage of customers' living spaces—from finding ideas, purchasing new homes, decorating, to renovating—Home Solution will be a highlighted strategy pushed forward in 2024. NocNoc already offers a wide range of home-related products and services, but this year will introduce consulting services for home enthusiasts, as some customers may not know how to find suitable home decoration products or may want expert guidance in selecting products and services that meet their needs. Home Solution will fill this gap, not only by recommending home products but also by offering design ideas and craftsmanship services, guaranteeing all services as a One Stop Service.
NocNoc is also expanding its customer base into B2B (Business-to-Business) to meet the needs of all business operators, both small and large, providing them with decoration products and services tailored to their style through One Stop Service. Collaborating with trade partners will enable NocNoc to strengthen its Online to Offline business in 2024 through NocNoc for Business, offering knowledge and presenting suitable products and services for businesses (Business Solution), including design, product selection, and services tailored for shops, restaurants, cafes, hotels, and offices. Additionally, NocNoc will engage partner sellers in special promotions during various events, benefiting both sellers and general customers in Bangkok and other provinces, with plans to expand to eight provinces: Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Phuket, Korat, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Songkhla, and Rayong.
Moreover, it is evident that post-COVID-19, consumers are not only living in their own homes but are also engaging in various activities outside, such as exercising, visiting cafes, or traveling. This has led to growth in related product categories. NocNoc is therefore expanding its lifestyle product offerings to align more closely with market trends. Currently, the platform features over 600,000 items and more than 6,000 partner stores, but there is still potential to meet consumer needs further, especially in renovation or improvement categories, as well as in other segments like products for mothers and children, which have already started to be included, and the pet products category that has been growing steadily over the years.
Adding more products will enhance purchasing on the platform; customers who initially intended to buy furniture may also purchase lifestyle products upon seeing them, leading to a better shopping experience that meets all home and living needs. “NocNoc's challenge is to encourage repeat purchases because home decoration can change according to mood and needs. Having a comprehensive range of products and services in one place will encourage customers to return to purchase from NocNoc's platform continuously,” the statement concluded.
After launching the personalized experience marketing strategy and expanding the customer base in major cities, along with broadening product categories to meet consumer needs and strengthening through Home Solution, NocNoc is confident that in 2024, it will achieve a 40% sales growth, amounting to 6.5 billion baht, which is higher than the overall marketplace and traditional retail growth, and is ready to truly transform into a Home and Living Destination,” Anupong concluded.
