Pruksa continues the project 'Caring Homes for People with Disabilities By PRUKSA' in its 5th year, delivering homes to people with disabilities in Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen while promoting careers to enhance the quality of life for those living in a good and happy environment, continuously uplifting the lives of impoverished disabled individuals in rural areas.

With the brand's mission of “Caring for Life... Good and Happy Living,” Pruksa delivers housing value that integrates the creation of “well-being factors, good health, and good communities” to truly enhance the quality of living in the sense of good and happy living. The organization emphasizes sustainable development, not solely focusing on profit, but aiming to operate within the framework of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

'Caring Homes for People with Disabilities By PRUKSA' is one of the projects under the ESG concept in the social dimension, originating from Pruksa's desire to see every Thai person living happily in their own home. Recognizing that there are still many groups in society needing opportunities, especially disabled individuals in rural areas, Pruksa leverages its expertise in real estate and healthcare to develop housing solutions. This is done in collaboration with local communities to create and adapt homes suitable for each individual's disabilities, allowing them to live safely and happily, reducing the risk of repeated accidents and restoring their physical and mental well-being. Pruksa is committed to sustainable development, caring for society, and providing opportunities for those in need, contributing to community enhancement and continuously uplifting the lives of disabled individuals.

The project 'Caring Homes for People with Disabilities By PRUKSA' was first launched in 2019, with 24 homes delivered so far. In this 5th year, an additional 10 homes have been provided to disabled individuals in Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen, bringing the total to 34 homes. Additionally, the project promotes employment opportunities for disabled individuals or their caregivers based on their skills, enabling them to generate sustainable income for their families. This initiative has been successfully accomplished through collaboration with various parties, including government agencies, private sectors, community leaders, and Vimud Hospital, as well as partner networks such as the Social Innovation Foundation, Sirindhorn Hospital in Khon Kaen, the Disabled Service Center, the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Department of Local Administration, and local health promotion hospitals.
