Now Open: ‘One Origin’ has joined forces with major Japanese real estate partner ‘Nomura Real Estate Development’ to unveil ‘One Origin Sukhumvit 24’, a new mixed-use hotel and community mall in the heart of the Phrom Phong area. This project introduces the ‘Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit’, the second Staybridge Suites in Thailand and Asia-Pacific under the global hotel group IHG, offering long-term stay services alongside a new community mall brand ‘Neighbor 24’, catering to the lifestyle needs of residents, business travelers, and expatriates in Sukhumvit and Rama 4.

Mr. Piti Jarukamjorn, CEO of One Origin Public Company Limited, which is the flagship company of the Origin Property Group, announced the opening of One Origin Sukhumvit 24, a mixed-use hotel and community mall developed in collaboration with Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., a leading real estate developer from Japan. The project is strategically located in Sukhumvit 24, one of Thailand's key business districts (CBD), which has a high demand for accommodation and lifestyle options for both locals and foreigners.

The One Origin Sukhumvit 24 project spans 3-2-35 rai and consists of two buildings: a 24-story building and a 30-story building, integrating two key components:

1. Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit is a hotel and serviced apartment from the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), marking the second Staybridge Suites in Thailand and Asia-Pacific. It aims to provide a home-like experience under the concept “We Are Your Home Away from Home”, featuring a total of 411 rooms ranging from 28-70 square meters. The hotel offers amenities for both short-stay tourists seeking services and facilities, as well as long-stay expatriates working in Thailand, including meeting rooms, co-working spaces, a business center, a swimming pool, an onsen, a golf simulator, and a pet-friendly policy.

2. Neighbor 24 is an 8-story community mall (B1-7F) operating from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, under the concept of “Your Neighbor,” featuring a collection of restaurants, shops, services, and lifestyle options tailored to Japanese-style living, including UFM Fuji Super Market, the fifth branch of the renowned Japanese supermarket in Thailand, Tonkatsu Koseki, a tonkatsu restaurant run by a Japanese chef with over 20 years of experience in Kyoto, Doraya, a Japanese restaurant from Hong Kong specializing in honmaguro, Café Kaldi, a coffee farm with 165 branches across Japan, Ichirin Japanese Style Esthetics, offering comprehensive spa and wellness services, and Everyday Haus, a home decor store from Wide Interior under Primo Service Solutions Public Company Limited.

“With its location in the CBD, convenient access to public transport, and proximity to various industrial estates, combined with the strength of our partners and shops, we are confident that One Origin Sukhumvit 24 will offer products and services that cater to the lifestyle needs of tourists, families, couples, business travelers, and long-stay guests,” Mr. Piti stated.

Previously, the Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor, the first Staybridge Suites in Thailand and Asia-Pacific, received excellent feedback with an average occupancy rate of around 88% in 2022. The Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit within the One Origin Sukhumvit project has also been well-received, with continuous advance bookings before the new building's opening.

Mr. Naomi Endo, Managing Director of Nomura Real Estate (Thailand) Co., Ltd. stated that the One Origin Sukhumvit 24 project is the second recurring income project under the joint venture between Nomura and One Origin in Thailand. The company is confident in its strong partnership and the quality brand of IHG, as well as the potential of the Phrom Phong area, which is a significant hub for work, travel, and leisure, with a high demand for accommodation from expatriates, especially Japanese businesspeople.

“Phrom Phong is a central area for expatriates with ongoing new demands. We have a hotel that meets the needs of organizations for both meetings and long stays, such as Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit, and Neighbor 24, which serves as a neighbor gathering shops, restaurants, and health services for people to enjoy every day. We are confident that the strong knowledge and understanding of our partners in developing One Origin Sukhumvit 24 will create an excellent experience for guests and users,” Mr. Naomi said.

Mr. Rajit Sukhumaran, Executive Director for Southeast Asia and Korea (SEAK) of IHG expressed that IHG is very pleased to continue its collaboration with One Origin to open the “Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit,” the second residential-style hotel in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region, to meet the growing demand for long-stay accommodations from families, couples, or business travelers in the country. Both ONEO and IHG share a vision to provide a four-star full-service standard to elevate the guest experience, allowing guests to enjoy a Japanese-style onsen. IHG is proud to play a strategic role with ONEO in expanding a unique service portfolio and lifestyle that differs from typical tourist hotels, aiming to enhance the experience of stays and meetings in the city center.

“The collaboration between IHG and ONEO in the Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit this time strengthens the solid relationship between the two companies and demonstrates our continuous growth in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region. We are confident that we will continue to collaborate to create the best guest experience, enhancing the strength of Thailand's hotel and tourism industry continuously,” Mr. Rajit concluded.
