Today, there are various forms of investment, including tangible assets (Physical Assets) and intangible assets or financial instruments (Non-Physical Assets). These offer different returns based on various income-generating characteristics, increasing diversity for investors. Consequently, investors must enhance their knowledge and understanding of these investment forms.

For example, in the past, real estate investment was limited to developing vacant land into high-value real estate projects, accessible only to large investors due to the substantial capital required. Smaller investors typically engaged in regular buying and selling to speculate for future profits, resulting in lower liquidity for investments. However, today both large and small investors can equally access real estate investments through new forms of real estate developed recently.

These include “Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs),” which are asset funds that invest in high-value real estate. Investors can participate by investing in trust units, which can be traded on the stock exchange. There are various business types available for investment, such as REITs focused on factories and warehouses, office rentals, hotels, exhibition centers, and shopping malls.

Another option is investing in Real Estate Tokens, which involve investing in cash flow contracts of various real estate projects through token units. Additionally, there is the Investment Property Program (IP), which caters to investors wanting direct ownership of property titles for condominium units.

Nonetheless, all investments carry risks. Investors should make decisions based on their knowledge, understanding, and acceptable risk levels to ensure effective and consistent investments.
