RT has been awarded the construction of the earth dam and associated buildings for the Klong Aeng Reservoir project in Trat Province by the Royal Irrigation Department, valued at 678.85 million baht with a project duration of 39 months. This will support the growth of the construction backlog and ensure continuous revenue recognition.

Mr. Chawalit Thanomthin, Chief Executive Officer of Right Tunneling Public Company Limited (RT), a specialist in civil engineering and geotechnics, revealed that the company has accepted the construction work for the earth dam and associated buildings for the Klong Aeng Reservoir project in Trat Province, valued at 678.85 million baht (including VAT), with the Royal Irrigation Department as the project owner. The contract was signed on May 3, 2023, with a contract duration of 39 months from May 9, 2023, to July 22, 2026. The company has already commenced construction activities on-site.

The Klong Aeng Reservoir project is located in Nong Bon Subdistrict, Ban Rai District, Trat Province, and is designed to help prevent flooding issues for local residents, as well as address water shortages for farmers. Additionally, it will serve as a breeding ground for aquatic animals.

“The company is focused on delivering projects that reflect original cost prices continuously, alongside advancing plans to bid for both public and private sector projects as a bidder and subcontractor. We are also developing construction technologies to enhance opportunities for diverse construction operations. The acceptance of this project has resulted in a backlog of work amounting to 12,296 million baht, which will gradually be recognized as revenue from 2023 to 2027,” Mr. Chawalit stated.
