HSBC Bank Thailand, led by Mr. Giorgio Gamba, CEO of HSBC Bank Thailand (far right), in collaboration with the International College of Mahidol University, organized the HSBC Thailand Business Case Competition 2023 to enhance the analytical and business planning skills of Thai students. The event featured over 40 esteemed leaders from national organizations as judges, including Mr. William Heineke, Chairman of the Board of Minor International Public Company Limited (2nd from right), Dr. Saengsuk Pithayanukul, Managing Director of Siam Health Group Limited, owner of the brands Smooth E and Dentiste (3rd from right), and Mr. Thanyapong Thamavaranukit Co-Managing Director of Ascend Money Limited (far left)

This year, 19 teams from 7 universities across the country participated in the competition, with the winning team being Excelsior Consulting from the International College of Mahidol University. They will receive a cash prize of 120,000 baht and represent Thailand in the prestigious HSBC/HKU (University of Hong Kong) Asia Pacific Business Case Competition, the largest business case competition for students in the world, held in Hong Kong at the end of May.
