MUJI Home Appliances Exhibition Reflects Design and Concept of 'Essential Products for Daily Life in Necessary Forms'
Another significant step for MUJI, the globally renowned Japanese lifestyle brand, which has made its debut in Thailand and become well-known among Thai consumers due to its distinct brand identity rooted in minimalism. Recently, MUJI launched a full range of Home Appliances for the first time in Thailand, accompanied by the exhibition “MUJI Home Appliances,” showcasing the brand's electrical appliances, reflecting design concepts and sharing the stories behind each item. This exhibition aims to provide consumers with a new experience of the MUJI lifestyle. The exhibition will take place from April 21 to May 4, 2023, at MUJI Store, 2nd Floor, The EmQuartier (Building B).

Mr. Masashi Oka, General Manager of Purchasing at MUJI Retail (Thailand) Co., Ltd. stated that every product available in MUJI stores carries details that convey its value, addressing both functional and emotional needs, creating a positive experience between customers and MUJI. Therefore, every MUJI product is unique and more than just a product, representing a core aspect of the MUJI brand identity. For this reason, MUJI Thailand has introduced a new line of home appliances, marking the first full-scale launch in Thailand, leading to the “MUJI Home Appliances” exhibition, under the concept "The Simple Design that naturally blends into your life," reflecting design and sharing the inspiration behind each electrical appliance, connecting to people's lifestyles and daily routines, while also showcasing identity through design, shape, and functionality of home appliances. This reinforces MUJI's commitment to the philosophy of creating “essential products for daily life in truly necessary forms.”
Within the “MUJI Home Appliances” exhibition, five new products are showcased in the Home Appliances category. These include a rice cooker, toaster oven, vacuum cleaner, standing fan, and hair dryer, presented through exhibition boards and installations to showcase each appliance as a work of art, allowing customers and MUJI fans attending the exhibition to closely experience and appreciate the distinctive design of each product that seamlessly integrates into daily life across various living spaces, characterized by a minimalistic design that is simple yet harmonious, highlighted by an all-white exterior across all items.
MUJI has launched electrical appliances for daily living, focusing on usability in kitchens, living rooms, and even bathrooms or dressing rooms, aiming to enhance everyone's daily life with convenience that harmonizes with MUJI's signature simple and accessible design. Each new MUJI appliance is produced and certified to meet Japanese quality standards.
