"Origin EEC" Partners with "Phuket Villa" to Develop Phuket Condo "The Origin Kathu-Patong" on an Additional 10 Rai, Project Worth 2.1 Billion
"Origin EEC" is capitalizing on the booming condominium market in Phuket following the strong response to "The Origin Centre Phuket," which has seen over 300 units booked. They have announced a joint venture with local big developer "Phuket Villa Corporation" to launch a new project for sale in 2023, "The Origin Kathu-Patong," with a project value of over 2.1 billion baht. They are set to transform over 10 rai of prime land, with sales expected to begin in the second quarter of this year.

Mr. Krit Techasammas, Managing Director of Origin EEC Co., Ltd., a condominium developer in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and major cities under Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI) revealed that after the official launch of the condominium project The Origin Centre Phuket at the 43rd Housing and Condo Fair last week (March 23-26, 2023), the project received an excellent response from consumers, achieving over 300 units booked. This is due to the high demand for condominiums in Phuket for both personal residence and long-term investment, coinciding with the reopening of the country and the recovery of the service market, as Phuket is a top destination for both Thai and foreign tourists. Additionally, the company's projects are located in high-potential areas with accessible starting prices.
Recently, the company has reached an agreement for a joint venture with Phuket Villa Corporation, a major real estate developer in Phuket, to develop the "The Origin Kathu-Patong" condominium project on a 10 rai plot near Patong Beach, just 5 minutes from downtown Phuket.
“This project is part of our strategy to expand into provincial markets by partnering with local allies to develop projects in various cities, strengthening the business expansion of the Origin group. We are honored to collaborate with a major real estate developer in Phuket for this new project in the prime location of Kathu-Patong, allowing us to develop the project at attractive market prices. Initially, we expect to start selling the first phase in the second quarter of 2023,” Mr. Krit stated.
