Recently, the new Dog Park at Benjakitti Forest Park was launched, featuring Ms. Petchlada Poovoralak, CEO of Major Development Public Company Limited, Mr. Pornprom Na S. Wikitseth, advisor to the Governor of Bangkok, and the Bangkok Environmental Office to enhance the usability of the DOG PARK.

Ms. Petchlada Poovoralak, CEO of Major Development Public Company Limited, a leader in luxury real estate development and pet-friendly residences, stated that the company has collaborated with Bangkok to improve the environment within the Dog Park at Benjakitti Forest Park, installing facilities, waste disposal points for pets, and various informational signs to encourage pet owners to responsibly share public spaces. This initiative incorporates the MAJOR PETSCAPE concept, which manages common areas in all Major Development condominium projects that are 100% pet-friendly, elevating it to develop larger spaces to create #EqualHappiness between people and pets, allowing for more joyful moments in various areas.
"We understand that taking pets out to explore the outside world and spending time together beyond just home or condominium is what pet lovers desire most. Major Development is thrilled to apply our know-how in design and the selection of pet-friendly materials to public spaces. We will distribute service points throughout the Dog Park to meet user needs. We sincerely hope this collaboration will be another step in enriching the outdoor experience for pet owners and their pets," said Ms. Petchlada.

Mr. Pornprom Na S. Wikitseth, advisor to the Governor of Bangkok on environmental issues stated that after the Benjakitti Forest Park opened Phase 1 as a Dog Park for the public and pets on September 15, 2022, free of charge, over 3,336 pet lovers have utilized the park, with a continuously increasing trend. This reflects the lifestyle of urban dwellers who view pets as family members and seek public spaces for shared activities to foster good interactions between owners and pets. The support from Major Development enhances the environment and serves as a model for developing public spaces in the city to be more pet-friendly in other areas of Bangkok.

Ms. Pornpavee Krusongsirivong, owner of the "2 Bai" dog page and a user of the Dog Park at Benjakitti Forest Park shared that normally, her twin dogs, "Nong Baitong" and "Nong Baitoey," a pair of Alaskan Malamute, have a daily routine of enjoying walks. Upon learning that the Dog Park at Benjakitti Forest Park has officially opened, she took the opportunity to bring her dogs for morning exercise and joyful moments together. She noted that the park is beautiful, clean, and she was particularly impressed by the clear welcome signs for dogs, making it evident that this is a dog-friendly area with vibrant colors.
"I would like to thank Major Development and Bangkok for collaborating to prioritize dog lovers living in the city. We regularly visit Benjakitti Park, and this time we noticed the park's readiness has improved, with systematic signs for waste disposal and designated areas for pet relief, beautifully planted trees, and dog signs placed throughout. This is indeed our zone as Dog Lovers. Therefore, as responsible pet owners, we must work together to maintain cleanliness, ensuring we pick up after our pets. As more Dog Parks open in the future, we must continue to uphold cleanliness so that future visitors can enjoy a clean and happy space," she added.
Additionally, Major Development invites all Dog Lovers to meet friends in this happy space at the Dog Park at Benjakitti Forest Park and capture adorable moments together.
