"Krung Thai Bank" is moving forward to meet the needs of investors by launching a comprehensive online gold trading service with "YLG Bullion International", a leading gold retailer in Thailand, through the Gold Wallet on the Paotang app, marking the second partnership to provide more options for investors starting from November 10, 2022.

Mr. Rawin Boonyanusasan, Deputy Managing Director of the Financial Markets Business Division at Krung Thai Bank, stated that the bank is committed to developing technology and investment innovations to cater to all investor groups through a comprehensive digital channel, covering government bonds, digital debentures, and online gold investments. Recently, the bank partnered with YLG Bullion International Co., Ltd., a leading gold retailer in Thailand, to offer a complete online gold trading service through the Gold Wallet on the Paotang application. This partnership is the second one aimed at increasing investment options for investors, allowing them to buy, sell, and withdraw 99.99% gold online in real-time, conveniently, quickly, safely, and in response to current market conditions, starting from November 10, 2022.

The bank aims to develop the Gold Wallet on the Paotang app into Thailand's first comprehensive online gold trading market, prioritizing the best interests of investors. Since its initial service launch in April 2022, investors have responded positively, benefiting from a comprehensive service that includes online gold buying, selling, and withdrawal orders, along with price movement reports and exchange rates through the Krungthai Connext channel. Currently, there are a total of 140,000 Gold Wallet accounts opened.

Moreover, investing in gold online through the Gold Wallet is convenient, easy, and safe, with a minimum trading amount of 0.1 ounces or approximately 6,000 baht (depending on the exchange rate at the time of buying or selling). Orders can be placed through the Paotang app without any fees, and accounts can be opened online anytime, anywhere, without a minimum deposit requirement. Gold can be bought and sold through the app in US dollars, referencing global market prices.
