ORI Secures 'Sustainable Stock THSI' for Two Consecutive Years, Reinforcing Commitment to Community, Society, and Environment Alongside Sustainable Business Practices
Origin Property Public Company Limited, or ORI , a comprehensive real estate development company, has been selected as a 'Sustainable Stock THSI' (Thailand Sustainability Investment) for the year 2022 in the real estate and construction category for the second consecutive year by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This reflects that Origin Property prioritizes sustainable business operations in accordance with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. This year, the company continues to maintain its sustainability performance standards, fostering organizational growth and managing operations under corporate governance principles, while also emphasizing the involvement of all stakeholders, considering society, surrounding communities, and the environment.
In the past, Origin Property has designed condominium projects to minimize environmental impact and support the sustainability of the buildings, making them community-friendly. The company has also continuously organized activities to enhance the quality of life for consumers, employees, partner companies, residents, and the community. This includes the implementation of the “ORIGIN GIVE” initiative under three main concepts: ORIGIN HUG, a scholarship program for children and youth; ORIGIN HELP, a community development project that repairs, improves landscapes, and donates essential items; and ORIGIN HEAL, an environmental development project focused on creating green spaces and preserving the environment to benefit and demonstrate responsibility towards surrounding communities in areas where projects are being constructed.
Meanwhile, in terms of business operations, Origin Property continues to advance its Origin Multiverse plan, or multiverse growth strategy, expanding its empire from real estate into new businesses that align with global mega-trends. The company is gradually listing its subsidiaries on the stock exchange to foster business growth while also creating new avenues for sustainable market access.
