xLab Digital, a company under Ananda Development Public Company Limited and iBOTNOI, has collaborated with Chulalongkorn University to launch the 'The Data Master' program as a pilot course of The Master Academy. The objective is to accelerate the production of masters in all future sciences. This program is designed as an integrated learning experience that combines the academic strengths of Chulalongkorn University with real-world expertise from professionals in the field provided by the iBOTNOI team, along with business expertise from xLab Digital. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of data scientists is expected to grow by 31% over the next decade, outpacing other professions. The public and private sectors in Thailand anticipate an increase of at least 30,000 personnel in this field by 2027, while currently, the market has less than 10% of the required data scientists, making it one of the most in-demand professions in Thailand.

The 'The Data Master' program will provide learners at all levels with the opportunity to gain knowledge from the basics to practical application in various businesses through a rigorous 14-week curriculum. A key feature of this program is that students will have a three-month internship with private sector companies, learning under the guidance of professional data scientists and receiving a salary as compensation, along with opportunities for employment with leading companies in the country. It is expected that applicants in the first year will exceed 2,000, with the program capable of producing 100 data scientists annually. The first application period opens on October 1 and closes on October 31 this year, with the first class starting from November 19, 2022, to March 3, 2023.
