Kunalai Sees Surge in Housing Demand in Bang Bua Thong Zone, Launches 'Kunalai Daisy' Ahead of Grand Opening This September
Kunalai Villa Public Company Limited "KUN" has announced a proactive strategy to meet the housing demand in the Bang Bua Thong area, preparing to launch a new project, "Kunalai Daisy", featuring single and twin houses valued at 830 million baht this September. CEO Praveerat Tevaakson stated that the demand for housing in Bang Bua Thong has surged, resulting in Kunalai Preem selling out faster than expected, prompting the company to introduce Kunalai Daisy to the market in June ahead of its official Grand Opening. Currently, over 15 units have been booked, indicating that sales in the first half of the year are likely to exceed targets, reinforcing the company's goal of reaching 1.7 billion baht in sales for the year.

Ms. Praveerat Tevaakson, CEO of Kunalai Villa Public Company Limited (KUN), a developer of horizontal real estate projects in suburban areas, revealed that the overall real estate market has shown signs of recovery recently, supported by various positive factors, including the reopening of the country to tourists, which has led to an economic rebound. This has resulted in a resurgence of demand and purchasing power among consumers, particularly for homes that meet all their needs. This is reflected in the demand for Kunalai's projects, with the recent Kunalai Preem project, which consists of 411 units of single and twin houses starting at 2.98 million baht, selling out faster than expected by one quarter, prompting the company to expedite the development of Kunalai Daisy, allowing customers to view model homes and make reservations ahead of the official Grand Opening in September 2022 to replace the Kunalai Preem project.
The Kunalai Daisy project is located in the Bang Bua Thong area on Ban Kluai - Sai Noi Road, featuring a total of 211 units of single and twin houses valued at 830 million baht, with prices starting from 3.39 to 5.5 million baht. This project is developed under the concept of "eliminating excess, adding what is lacking," reflecting the current consumer trend of placing greater importance on interior space. The "Kunalai Daisy" project opened for customer reservations in June, receiving positive feedback from clients, as evidenced by the current booking of 15 units, totaling over 55 million baht. The strong sales performance of Kunalai Daisy indicates that the overall sales in the first half of the year are likely to exceed the company's targets, and the company is confident that it will achieve its annual sales goal of 1.7 billion baht in 2022.
The Kunalai Daisy project is currently under construction and is set for an official sale (Grand Opening) in September. The company will gradually launch sales in two phases, with the first phase involving approximately 100 units, expected to be completed before the sale (September 2022), followed by further construction in subsequent phases. The demand for horizontal housing in the Bang Bua Thong area remains strong, as evidenced by over 800 new customer visits to Kunalai's projects in the past six months. The Bang Bua Thong area is a high-potential location with diverse competition across all product levels, allowing consumers to choose housing that fits their lifestyle. This area stands out for its affordable pricing and suitability for various lifestyles, with all of Kunalai's projects effectively meeting the diverse needs of consumers," Ms. Praveerat stated.
The CEO further added that Kunalai, as a leader in residential project development in the Bang Bua Thong area, sees continuous investment opportunities in this zone. The strategy to maintain market leadership involves capturing market share through the development of new, "value-for-money" housing products across all segments, including townhomes, twin houses, single houses, premium single houses, and commercial buildings, providing customers with a range of options while also developing new housing products to replace those nearing completion to meet ongoing demand.
