One Origin Boosts Thai Tourism with Hampton Hotel and Residence Partnering with Thai Smile to Offer Exclusive Privileges for Ibis Guests in 3 Locations
"One Origin" is confident that positive signals from the reopening of the country will support Thai tourism in 2022, as the number of foreign tourists entering Thailand surpassed one million in May. In the second half of the year, an additional four million foreign tourists are expected, stimulating the overall economy, consumer spending, and domestic tourism. The company is moving forward with "Hampton Hotel and Residence," a representative of hotel and residential management, to boost tourism in major cities by partnering with the national airline "Thai Smile" to participate in the We Privilege program, offering special privileges to members staying at the renowned budget hotel brand "Ibis" in three top tourist locations: Phuket, Hua Hin, and Krabi.

Mr. Pitipong Trai-nurak, CEO of One Origin Co., Ltd., a recurring income business under Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), stated that according to statistics from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the number of foreign tourists entering Thailand from January 1 to May 18, 2022, exceeded 1.01 million. Since May 1, the Test & Go measure has been lifted, and other measures are expected to be relaxed continuously. It is anticipated that in the second half of this year, Thailand will see an additional four million foreign tourists, in line with the government’s target. The recovery of the tourism sector will positively impact the overall economy, consumer spending, and encourage more domestic travel among Thais.
"The relaxation of the Test & Go measures and the cancellation of the Thailand Pass, along with the cooperation of the private sector, will be crucial tools to revitalize the country's tourism business, especially in top tourist locations. One Origin, with hotels located in key tourist cities like Phuket, Hua Hin, and Krabi under the Ibis brand, totaling 664 rooms, is prepared to play a part in stimulating tourism in these three areas, in collaboration with other agencies. Recently, we have assigned Hampton Hotel and Residence Management Co., Ltd. (HHR) as our sales and marketing consultant to continuously foster cooperation," Mr. Pitipong said.
Ms. Jatuporn Wilai-kaew, CEO of Hampton Hotel and Residence Management Co., Ltd. (HHR), part of Primo Service Solution Co., Ltd., stated that the company has partnered with Thai Smile, one of the leading airlines with flights serving both domestic and international routes, to be part of the We Privilege program, offering special benefits to both Thai and foreign customers who are Thai Smile members when staying at the Ibis hotels in three locations: 1. Ibis Phuket Kata Hotel, a 5-story hotel with 258 rooms; 2. Ibis Hua Hin, a 6-story hotel with 200 rooms; and 3. Ibis Styles Krabi Ao Nang, a 5-story hotel with 206 rooms.
The special privileges for Thai Smile customers include Early Check-in at 12:00 PM and Late Check-out at 4:00 PM, simply by showing their Thai Smile boarding pass. Additionally, showing a Boarding Pass, WE PRESTIGE card, or Royal Orchid Plus membership card will grant an immediate 25% discount on food and beverages at all three hotels from now until September 30, 2022.
Each hotel will also organize additional Seasonal Campaigns to attract tourists. For instance, the Ibis Phuket Kata Hotel is preparing to welcome guests for the Surf Season in June-July with limited-time special room rates, encouraging tourists to come surf at Kata Beach during the best time of the year.
"All three Ibis hotels offer quality accommodations and service standards ready to serve both Thai and foreign tourists. Partnering with a leading airline like Thai Smile will enhance benefits for travelers, making it easier for them to decide to travel and stay at these three locations and hotels. The company continues to collaborate with leading national partners in tourism-related businesses to significantly increase the occupancy rates of tourists in Hua Hin, Phuket, and Krabi compared to last year," Ms. Jatuporn said.
