We are equal, I am as equal as you" campaign in its second year. This creates value for "equality in all dimensions, openness to diversity, and acceptance in society."
Every June is not just Pride Month or a month for supporting LGBTQ+ equality worldwide; every day is Sansiri's equality day. In 2022, Sansiri is committed to making equality a new standard continuously, as the first organization in Thailand and one of 200 leading companies globally to sign the UN Global Standards of Conduct for Business. Joining hands with "Dtac" and "Unilever," global partners and role models for equality, we continue the "Live Equally, We are equal, I am as equal as you" campaign under UNDP support for the third year, pushing to create new standards that support equality and diversity both within the organization for employees and in Thai society. We are laying out a 3-year roadmap to "create a society where equality becomes the standard in all dimensions."

Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Chairman and CEO of Sansiri Public Company Limited, stated, "Sansiri firmly believes that every dimension of life is about equality. We take this matter seriously and drive it concretely by being a bridge connecting partners with a shared vision to promote equality in all dimensions and diversity in Thai society. Sansiri thanks our partners this year for recognizing the value of equality and diversity that the world is increasingly prioritizing. We hope this collaboration will spark other sectors to embrace diversity in society and create equality in all dimensions until it becomes a societal standard."

Over the past six years, Sansiri has been a leading real estate organization in the country, committed to promoting equality and embracing diversity clearly and concretely within the organization, covering employees and their families. It is the first organization in Thailand and one of over 200 leading companies globally such as Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola, Netflix, and Nike, to sign the UN Global Standards of Conduct for Business under UNDP support, embracing LGBTQ+ employees and treating them equally. This year, we also provide benefits for employees with diversity in the organization, including marriage leave of up to 6 days per year, gender reassignment surgery leave of up to 30 days per year, bereavement leave for partners of up to 15 days per year, and leave to care for partners and adopted children of up to 7 days per year. Additionally, it extends to employees' partners, such as alternative vaccines, health insurance, and more. We also collaborate with various leading business partners, SMEs, and global businesses under a shared vision to promote equality from within the organization for a Thai society that is equal in all dimensions, including the acceptance of LGBTQ+ groups in the workplace and the promotion of concrete policies within the organization for the equality of everyone or customers.
Making home ownership easier by collaborating with eight banking partners to open opportunities for all couples to own Sansiri homes equally. Equality for those affected by the economy, particularly SMEs, who should receive support from all sectors, as well as equality in access to investment rights to generate income for everyone at all levels. Recently, we received two awards as proof of our commitment as a leading organization for equality, including the Human Rights Award 2022 from the Rights Protection Department, Ministry of Justice, and the award for exemplary network organizations promoting gender equality from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
According to Mr. Rehno Meyer, UNDP Representative in Thailand, "UNDP is very pleased that Sansiri reaffirms its commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion, as well as initiating collaboration with Dtac and Unilever to drive these values and principles in the company and Thai society. UNDP will continue to work to support the business sector in promoting diversity and inclusion for LGBTI in the workplace, ensuring that no one is left behind in achieving sustainable development goals."
Mr. Sharad Mehrotra, CEO of Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (Dtac), stated, "At Dtac, we adhere to the highest standards of human rights, which include driving diversity and inclusion both at the organizational and societal levels through our network services, as well as implementing various policies such as a 6-month maternity leave policy, first announced in 2016, and an equal benefits policy for same-sex couples, announced in 2021. In partnering with Sansiri and Unilever, Dtac aims to inspire other businesses in Thailand to incorporate diversity and inclusion policies into their business principles, which is reflected in Dtac's operations in three dimensions: the #Inclusivedtac concept, believing that equality and diversity start with allowing everyone in the organization to participate, the 'Good for All, Good Together' business plan to help people with disabilities access connectivity services more, and the Safe Internet project to enhance online immunity and teach children and youth to use the online world safely and protect themselves from online threats, including cyberbullying, which teachers can expand upon in schools, and the 'joint practices to stop cyberbullying' which serves as a guideline to halt online bullying in schools."

Ms. Natthinee Netamphai, Senior Corporate Relations Manager at Unilever Thailand, said: "Equality is the ideal that everyone is equal, while equity is the means to achieve equality. As a company, Unilever can choose to provide equity. This is why we focus on analyzing barriers in our structures that create inequality or inequity, to sustainably reduce obstacles through our policies, practices, and measures. Unilever has adjusted our methods in creating advertisements, recruiting employees, evaluating performance and potential, career advancement assessments, and compensation considerations, continuously improving to reduce negative impacts arising from inequality or inequity. We are creating a workplace that provides equality, supports, empowers, and recognizes the fundamental value of people from all identities, backgrounds, and professions. Unilever Thailand has 66% of mid-level managers and above who are women and works with a diverse range of 131 SMEs, meaning they are owned, managed, and run by members of diverse groups such as women, LGBTQI+, people with disabilities, or minorities, 51% or more, to support access to skills, funding sources, and business networks through the SME development project to enhance the capabilities of selected SMEs to become business partners with Unilever. Unilever is committed to raising living standards across the value chain, creating opportunities through non-discrimination, and preparing communities for future work through the diversity of partners. We believe that equity is the outcome that can ensure our success comes from listening to feedback, building skills, and the diverse life experiences of our employees and partners."
