"CMC" Approves Dividend Payment of 0.04 Baht per Share and Expands Horizontal Portfolio Across Four City Corners, Reinforcing Its Leadership in Thai Real Estate Development

Dr. Wichian Patthayanun, Chief Executive Officer of Chao Phraya Mahakarn Public Company Limited (CMC), emphasized the company's leadership in Thai real estate development, stating that "the annual general meeting of shareholders for the year 2022 was held via electronic media (E-AGM), with a key agenda item to consider the dividend payment for the fiscal year 2022 at a rate of 0.04 Baht per share, in response to the confidence in CMC's potential. The dividend is set to be paid on May 25, 2022, alongside the report on the fiscal year 2021 performance, which was a year of transformation that strengthened the company sustainably."
The company is diversifying its business lines from real estate to medical and health-related businesses, as well as the hotel industry, to create recurring income. Despite facing the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, the company has demonstrated its management capabilities by maintaining profitability at the level achieved in 2021, with a net profit of 44 million Baht and a profit from the standalone financial statement of 69 million Baht.
Additionally, the company is expanding its horizontal portfolio, including single-detached houses, townhomes, and duplex houses, covering the southwestern region, with plans for the eastern and northern regions in 2023, with a project value exceeding 1.5 billion Baht. This growth in the horizontal customer base will enable quicker revenue recognition and expand the company's portfolio across all segments, with some revenue expected to be recognized in 2022."
