Krungthai Bank, in collaboration with MTS GOLD, has launched the 'Online Gold Withdrawal' service through the Krungthai Gold Wallet on the Pao Tang app. This service allows investors to buy, sell, and withdraw gold all in one app, reinforcing its position as a leader in digital platforms. The ongoing Russia-Ukraine situation has led to a surge in service usage, with over 70,000 accounts created.           

Mr. Rawin Boonyanusasan, Deputy Managing Director of the Financial Markets Business Group at Krungthai Bank, stated that the bank is continuously developing investment innovations that cater to all investor groups through easily accessible channels, especially on the Pao Tang application. Currently, the bank offers a variety of products and services, including the Krungthai Gold Wallet, in partnership with MTS GOLD, allowing investors to trade 99.99% pure gold online in real-time without needing to visit a gold shop. This service is convenient, fast, and secure, keeping pace with current events. Due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, investors are closely monitoring gold prices and exchange rates to find investment opportunities in assets that benefit from this situation, resulting in an increase of over 70,000 accounts on the Krungthai Gold Wallet platform, reflecting investor confidence in the products and services offered.

Recently, the bank has introduced a new service, 'Online Gold Withdrawal' on the Pao Tang app, to enhance investor confidence by allowing comprehensive gold investment, including buying, selling, and withdrawing gold conveniently, quickly, and securely. Investors can place orders to withdraw 99.99% pure gold with a minimum amount of just 0.1 ounces online every day from 01:00 to 22:30. They can receive their gold within three days from the date of successful withdrawal order by presenting their ID card and transaction slip for verification at their chosen MTS GOLD branch through the Gold Wallet. There are five branches available: Central Pinklao, Central Westgate, Krob Phra, Wongwian Yai, and The Old Siam.
