Mr. Rawin Boonyanusasan Deputy Managing Director, and Mr. Kritsakorn Nontanakhorn Senior Director of Krung Thai Bank announced their success in receiving 3 prestigious awards at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Capital Markets Awards 2021 organized by The Asset magazine, a leading financial publication in Asia. The awards include Best Sustainability-Linked Bond, Best Liability Management Thailand, and Best Local Currency Bond Thailand for their role as advisors, managers of allocation, and distribution of bonds for various institutions, receiving overwhelming positive feedback.

The awards reflect the bank's commitment to supporting business operations with consideration for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. The bank received the Best Sustainability-Linked Bond award for managing the distribution of sustainability-linked bonds worth 10 billion baht for Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), which is the highest value sustainability-linked bond in Thailand, adhering to international standards and various guidelines.

These include the sustainability bond issuance standards of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) and the Sustainability Linked Loan Principles of the Loan Market Association (LMA). The funding aims to achieve sustainability performance targets, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support the use of renewable energy, aligning with the bank's vision of promoting sustainable investment that considers environmental, social, and governance aspects to create long-term returns, reflecting the bank's expertise in providing advisory services and driving capital market fundraising transactions professionally.

Additionally, the bank received the Best Liability Management Thailand award for distributing government bonds worth 120 billion baht from the Public Debt Management Office, Ministry of Finance, and the Best Local Currency Bond Thailand award for distributing bonds worth 66 billion baht for CP All Public Company Limited.
