"One Origin," part of Origin Property Group, has acquired three well-known budget hotels under the "Ibis" brand located in prime tourist destinations: Phuket, Hua Hin, and Krabi, from Erawan Group. The total number of rooms is 664, aiming to significantly expand the hotel portfolio and foster growth in a new segment, attracting both Thai and international tourists. The company is confident in the brand's potential following the recovery of tourism.

Mr. Piti Pong Trai Nurak, CEO of One Origin Co., Ltd., a business focused on generating recurring income within the Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), stated that the company continues to follow its plan to create recurring income in the hotel sector. Recently, the company has acquired three Ibis budget hotels under the Accor chain, totaling 664 rooms, from Erawan Group Public Company Limited (ERW), a leader in hotel and resort investment, development, and management in Thailand and ASEAN.

The three hotels include:
1. Ibis Phuket Kata Hotel - a 5-story hotel with 258 rooms.
2. Ibis Hua Hin - a 6-story hotel with 200 rooms.
3. Ibis Styles Krabi Ao Nang - a 5-story hotel with 206 rooms. All three hotels feature restaurants, swimming pools, and meeting rooms to serve both Thai and international tourists. The company will manage all three hotels starting May 1, 2022.

“Investing in these three Ibis hotels will be a key factor in helping One Origin grow rapidly in various aspects:
1. Increasing the number of projects that can generate immediate income.
2. Expanding the portfolio in the new budget hotel segment.
3. Increasing opportunities to penetrate tourist cities with high potential to attract both Thai and international tourists, such as Phuket, Hua Hin, and Krabi, shifting from our previous focus on developing projects around Bangkok and the EEC,” Mr. Piti Pong stated.

Mr. Piti Pong also mentioned that Phuket, Hua Hin, and Krabi remain popular tourist destinations for both domestic and international visitors. The company believes that as the situation stabilizes and approaches normalcy, the occupancy rates at each hotel will continuously rise, returning to normal levels by 2025, which will strengthen the recurring income for the Origin Property Group in the long term, according to the company's 5-year operational plan.

The company continues to seek growth opportunities through new project developments, acquisitions, and plans to bring assets into a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), as well as plans to list the company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand by 2023.
