Central Retail Launches 'Jingjai Market: Come to... Nakhon' for the First Time in Central Bangkok, Bringing Quality Products from Across Thailand to Support Local Farmers
Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (CRC) builds on its success in developing the grassroots economy to improve the quality of life and sustainable income for Thai farmers by launching the Jingjai Farmers’ Market for the first time in central Bangkok, titled “Jingjai Market: Come to... Nakhon” invites city dwellers to purchase high-quality agricultural products, featuring over 1,000 items of chemical-free fruits and vegetables, as well as local specialties, directly from Thai farmers nationwide who grow and sell their produce themselves. All proceeds go directly to farmers and SME operators. Through the Jingjai Market initiative, Central Retail has already supported 6,632 households and generated over 200 million baht in annual income for Thai farmers.
The Jingjai Farmers’ Market returns as one of Central Retail's initiatives to promote Thai farmers by providing them with a platform to sell agricultural products directly to consumers. This year, the event “Jingjai Market: Come to... Nakhon” features over 1,000 items of chemical-free fruits, vegetables, and local specialties in the heart of Bangkok, embodying the concept of “Caring, Proud, and Happy.” In addition to supporting farmers and SMEs, it aims to stimulate domestic spending during the year-end period. Attendees can enjoy various activities and attractions in a community-style setting while adhering to strict government measures to monitor and control the spread of COVID-19.
Additionally, customers can shop for products at the Jingjai Market through an omnichannel platform, including the Tops Application – Thailand's number one online supermarket for food and groceries, Personal Shopper services via Line: @TopsThailand, and Grab Mart in the Grab application, allowing for quick delivery within one hour, enhancing convenience for customers to shop for quality products anytime, anywhere.

PGS. Chiang Rai offers organic fruits and vegetables, focusing on local and northern varieties such as strawberries, crepe good berries, avocados, and passion fruits.
Wichai Orchid Farm is the largest orchid farm in Sai Noi district, guaranteed to be clean and chemical-free, having received the GIP (Good Importing Practices) award.
The Organic Agricultural Community Enterprise in Nakhon Ratchasima sells organic local vegetables grown using organic farming methods, ensuring freshness, cleanliness, safety, and deliciousness.
Samboon Rice produces and sells organic Sangkhalok rice, using GMP standards to prevent contamination, with state certification for quality. Its standout feature is its fragrant, soft, and sweet taste.
Celebrity chefs will showcase cooking demonstrations featuring special menus, scheduled from December 3 to 7 at 4:00 PM only.
Moreover, the Jingjai Market... Come to Nakhon will feature photo booths that recreate the atmosphere of each region in a community style, set up at various points throughout the event for visitors to capture beautiful memories. The event will conclude with workshops on crafting with natural materials from the local area, such as making pandan leaf bouquets, mosquito-repellent bags, and decoupage. These activities will be held daily in two sessions at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

The Jingjai Farmers’ Market project highlights the selection of chemical-free fruits and vegetables sold in department stores and supermarkets, successfully allowing farmers to sell directly to consumers. It is also a model market that is 100% plastic bag-free, starting with its first branch at Tops Market, Central Plaza Udon Thani, which has become a successful model in various areas across provinces. Currently, there are 26 branches in 24 provinces across 4 regions, assisting farmers in 624 communities, 359 districts, and 6,632 households, covering 24 provinces, resulting in a threefold increase in household income and generating over 200 million baht in annual income for farmers.
