Krung Thai Donates 20,000 Krungthai Care Boxes (Home Isolation Kits) to Support COVID-19 Patients
Krung Thai Bank recognizes the impact of the new wave of the COVID-19 outbreak, which has seen a rapid increase in the number of infected individuals. Those who are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms can isolate and treat themselves at home (Home Isolation) or in the community while waiting for hospital beds. It is essential to have basic medical supplies and medications for their care.
Therefore, the bank has created the Krungthai Care Box (Home Isolation Kit), also known as the Box of Hope, to be distributed to patients isolating at home, with a total of 20,000 boxes. This initiative aims to convey care and concern to all Thai people, ensuring their safety from COVID-19. Each box contains a thermometer, a fingertip pulse oximeter, face masks, hand sanitizer, and basic medications such as Andrographis paniculata and paracetamol. The initial distribution will be made to three organizations and volunteer groups, including the Ejan page under the 'Ejan Fight COVID Together' project, the Thread Volunteer Group, and Thai PBS, with each organization receiving 1,000 boxes along with 1,000 bottles of Krung Thai drinking water. The bank will expedite the delivery to other organizations and agencies to further assist infected individuals in various communities, helping everyone get through this crisis together. #TogetherWithEveryHeart #KrungThaiStandsWithThailand #KrungThaiStandsWithYou
