LPN Collaborates to Support Thai Society by Opening Lumpini Tower Vibhavadi as a COVID-19 Vaccination Center for Construction Workers from August 9-31
LPN supports the Social Security Office, Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labor, and Paolo Hospital Chokchai 4 in opening a COVID-19 vaccination center at the "Lumpini Tower Vibhavadi" for construction workers from August 9-31. This follows the successful completion of the initial phase, which met its vaccination targets.

Development Public Company Limited (LPN), stated that the company remains concerned about the ongoing severity of the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to have widespread impacts. The government has implemented measures to expedite vaccinations to control the situation effectively. Therefore, LPN wishes to contribute to the welfare of Thai society by allowing the use of its premises at the "Lumpini Tower Vibhavadi" as a continuous vaccination center for construction workers from August 9-31, aiming to increase the vaccination rate.

The COVID-19 Vaccination Center for Construction Workers at Lumpini Tower Vibhavadi has been administering vaccines to construction workers from various camps in Bangkok, including both Thai and foreign workers, from July 21-30. The target was to vaccinate 10,000 individuals, and a total of 10,019 vaccines were administered.
“LPN is pleased to be part of this success and to give back to society by supporting the use of the Lumpini Tower Vibhavadi as a vaccination center, as well as preparing the venue and providing staff to assist at the center. Additionally, the company has implemented strict safety measures, increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting the vaccination center daily. Furthermore, all workers must undergo a COVID-19 swab test before coming to receive the vaccine, ensuring that this center remains safe and not a source of infection,” Mr. Opas stated.
The Social Security Office, Ministry of Labor aims to expedite COVID-19 vaccinations for workers from various camps in Bangkok, totaling 611 camps and 83,082 workers, including 32,471 Thai workers and 50,611 foreign workers. Over 20,000 workers have already been vaccinated, with approximately 60,000 remaining.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Center for Construction Workers at Lumpini Tower Vibhavadi will continue to operate from August 9-31, 2021, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aiming to vaccinate construction workers, both Thai and foreign, who are insured under Section 33 and have registered with the Social Security Office, with a target of 1,500 vaccinations per day.
