DHOUSE has announced its business direction for the second half of the year, with the board approving an investment in its subsidiary, DE Energy and Retail (DER), which will serve as a representative for PTT gas stations and retail stores in Maha Sarakham. The company is also accelerating the development of the U PARK project and a mixed-use project near Mahasarakham University. Meanwhile, the first half of 2021 saw a revenue of 37.54 million baht and a backlog of 23.81 million baht.

Mr. Pongpaj Leetrungporn, CEO of DHOUSE Development Public Company Limited, a leader in real estate development in Maha Sarakham, specializing in various residential and commercial properties for sale, including single houses, twin houses, townhomes, home offices, and commercial buildings, stated that the business outlook for the third quarter of 2021 is expected to improve. The company has adjusted its marketing strategies and launched various promotions to stimulate sales, and it plans to continuously expand its business and increase investments.

Recently, the board approved DE Energy and Retail Co., Ltd. (DER), its subsidiary, to invest in gas station and retail businesses under the PTT brand in the DODO (Dealer Owned Dealer Operated) model, allowing franchise sales to investors for management. After receiving rights to distribute petroleum products from PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited, operations are expected to commence immediately after obtaining construction permits, with services anticipated to roll out in the first quarter of 2022.

At the same time, the company is accelerating the development of the U PARK project, a quality housing development at a reasonable price, located in a prime area with a total of 249 units valued at 607.07 million baht, along with a mixed-use project near the gas station close to Mahasarakham University.

As of the end of June, the company has a backlog of approximately 23.81 million baht, and it believes that if the COVID-19 situation improves, bookings and transfers will continue to come in steadily.

For the first half of 2021, the company reported total revenue of 37.54 million baht, down from 47.07 million baht in the same period last year, a decrease of 9.53 million baht or 20.24%, with a net loss of 2.39 million baht.

In the second quarter of 2021, the company reported total revenue of 11.11 million baht, down from 23.9 million baht in the same period last year, a decrease of 12.79 million baht, with a net loss of 2.57 million baht, down from a net profit of 5.73 million baht in the same period last year.

The decline in performance is attributed to the resurgence of the COVID-19 outbreak, which intensified during the second quarter of 2021, causing delays in some of the company's operations and affecting the planned transfer of property ownership. However, the company has implemented various measures to ensure normal operations while closely monitoring the situation.
