Grand Unity Cares for Every Life: Donates Essential Supplies to Construction Worker Camps and Provides Drinking Water as a Gesture of Concern through Rajavithi Hospital Foundation
Grand Unity Development Co., Ltd. or GRAND UNITY: Makes Sense, led by (from left to right) Mr. Pipat Niyathirakoon, Senior Director of Product Development and Construction Engineering, along with Mr. Boonkiat Pichitraaporn and Mr. Wichai Sripongpanakul, Assistant Directors of Construction, represented the company in donating essential consumer goods to engineering partners such as Wisawapat Co., Ltd., the contractor for the Denim Chatuchak project and the Anil Sathorn 12 project, Granite Construction Co., Ltd., the contractor for the Massarin Ratchayothin project, and Jirathana Construction Co., Ltd., the contractor for the Ciela Charoenkrung project, among others, to be distributed to over 1,100 workers affected by the temporary closure of construction worker camps due to the COVID-19 situation at the sales office of the Denim Chatuchak project.
Mr. Pipat Niyathirakoon, Senior Director of Product Development and Construction Engineering at Grand Unity Development Co., Ltd., stated, "As the company cooperated with the government by complying with the order to close construction worker camps for 30 days as part of the COVID-19 prevention measures, we are fully aware of the impact this has on the mental well-being and livelihoods of both the workers and their families. Therefore, to alleviate their hardships, the management and employees of Grand Unity united to procure essential items such as rice, dry food, ready-to-eat meals, and drinking water, which were packed into relief bags for the affected workers."
Part of the essential items and food for these relief bags was also sourced from supporting local shops or small businesses around the project area. The company hopes that amidst these challenging times, such assistance and support will uplift the spirits of both the workers and the community members,” Mr. Pipat added.

Additionally, Mr. Pipat Niyathirakoon, along with Mr. Thanadol Sriwarithinan (first from the left), Director of Construction as a representative of Grand Unity Development Co., Ltd., also donated 200 packs of drinking water to representatives from the Nutrition Unit of Rajavithi Hospital Foundation to support their operations, especially in caring for COVID-19 patients.
