Asia Pacific Property Awards 2021-2022
July 5, 2021, Bangkok – The Strand Thonglor, an ultra-luxury condominium developed by 1.6 Development Corporation, has won the award for "Residential High-Rise Development Thailand" at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2021-2022.
The Strand Thonglor is a 30-story condominium project located in the heart of Bangkok, just 1 minute from Thonglor BTS station. It is a mixed-use project that combines innovative features with services such as All-Day Dining restaurants, a Speakeasy Bar, a Business Lounge, and a public park called “The Strand Park.” The project is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2021.
Ms. Thanythip Chiaravanont, founder and CEO of 1.6 Development Corporation, stated, “1.6 Development is very pleased to receive this award once again after launching The Strand Thonglor. The Strand Thonglor is a collaborative project with Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC) with an investment value of over 4.8 billion baht, starting at 17.9 million baht. The project previously won the “Best Luxury Condo Architectural Design (Bangkok)” award from the Asia Pacific Property Awards in 2018.
The Asia Pacific Property Awards is the largest, most prestigious, and widely recognized award in the industry for 28 years. This year, the winners in various categories were announced online on May 28, 2021.
